Enjoy Lakeside Living At Its Best On Lake Chatuge!

"This is a beautiful unit in a smaller condo complex directly on the lake. We wanted to be able to to swim and there is a nice little swim platform with a ladder so that you can actually actually get into the coolness of Lake Chatuge. The house herself is very clean. There are 2 nice bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms with beautifully tiled glass showers. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and enjoy yourself. It has marble countertops and a nice breakfast bar (there is no dining room table, but there is a nice eating table outside on the porch overlooking the lake). Our only criticism would be that the washing machine was hard to figure out and we had to have our own Google fire stick account to operate the TV, so some instructions would have been nice. The beautiful lake view from the porch and the cool breezes lured us outside every day. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a relaxing lakefront property, conveniently located in the Hiawassee area. We loved it!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Dexter‘s Hideaway. Everything was very clean and super smooth check-in process. Clear instructions as well. My only recommendation would be that because dogs are allowed, the dehumidifiers and air vents could be cleaned better. There was quite a bit of dust and hair in them. Also, more chairs especially on the top deck for enjoying the views. We brought our own folding chairs, so it happened to work out. There were four of us staying in the house, but if there had been six people it wouldn’t have worked out."

"Cabin is clean. Easy to get to. Extra directions given led us astray, used the address and found it easily. Could use a few more towels. Cleanliness problem was with the mattresses. When we removed sheets, the mattresses need to be cleaned. Overall, property is good."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house with a great location. The place feels spacious and welcoming and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed playing board games and sitting with coffee on the screened-in patio. It was fun to see fireflies on the lawn (we're from the West Coast so we don't get them). When we accidentally left an item behind, the owner was very helpful in helping us get it back. All in all a great stay and we'd love to stay here again next time we visit!"
