"Was very clean and comfortable and the view of Lake Superior was amazing. Double room had two bedrooms separated by the bathroom which worked which gave my friend and I some privacy. Living area downstairs was very cozy...and again...those views of the Lake!!! I'd highly recommend and will stay here again."

"Im posting this review in part because I’m disappointed with Expedia. And posted a negative review to East Bay Suites by accident. Because my reservation at Black Sand Beach Hotel was a disaster! I stayed at East Bay Suites last week and the week before and service was first class! Great location! Beautiful views! And fair price for the time of year. I felt at home! A real hiker paradise! Tried to find something in Silver Bay with Expedia and showed up to nothing but a “You do not have a room” In the middle of the night on foot! I’m probably just and idiot for using Expedia"

"Well, I could not figure out how to put the shower on and because they allow dogs. There was a dog barking at night across the hallway. I could hear yelping nonstop and I thought there was a hot tub in the spa, but there is not anymore."
