This was our first trip to Boston, and we lucked out finding this spot. The unit was cute and clean. The outside deck is a nice shaded area to relax. Surprisingly, it is also very quiet, definitely not what I expected. The best part is that the convenience stores and train station are close enough to walk to. It isn't particularly close to the heart of downtown, but can be reached via train and car fairly easily. Given the price this was understandable. There was generally enough parking although it is street parking. The overhead lighting fixture in the bedroom wasn't working, but there was another lamp so that also wasn't the end of the world. It has everything you need for a home away from home. We cooked several meals while we stayed and had everyhing needed. The building and neighborhood were pretty quiet. One of the air conditioners didnt work but the host was very quick to get it fixed. There are several other historic towns within a short drive that made for great day trips such as Salem, Plymouth, Cape Cod.The downside, the hall leading to the apartment and the back patio could use some sprucing up. I would also add, if you have a car pay close attention to the street signs concerning the sweepers. We didnt realize it was different weeks for each side of the road and had our rental car towed.
