The immediate neighborhood is a very nice one and we felt really safe. It's about a 20 minute walk from the main street of the town, which is quite nice and not touristy, and we had lots of good food and there's also a great grocery store. We also walked to the train into Boston, which is just a few minutes further from there. One consideration in renting this home is that all of the bedrooms are up steep stairs, so it may not work well for families with younger children or for older people (which we just about are!) ##### Martha M. Everything was clean and seemed to be maintained to a family host standard. We had three adults and two in elementary age children. I especially enjoyed the office space because I did have to work well on the trip and the ability to close the door and to have the connectable monitor was great!!! The property is located near BC, not too far from downtown Boston and Logan Airport. The host Susan quickly addressed any needs we had. Fun trip and solid rental. We enjoyed the house, the location was excellent and allowed us to visit all of the New England states during our vacation. Downtown West Roxbury was about a 1/2 mile away and was a cute town with great restaurant options and a nearby grocery store and Starbucks. We enjoyed the neighborhood- nice and quiet, out of the bustle of downtown Boston, and a great area for evening walks. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Location was good for us because we went several different directions. Neighborhood was quiet, restaurants and grocery stores were close. He turned 21 on 11/19 and he was not coming home for Thanksgiving. So we took the double celebration to him. We did not want to stay in a hotel and be on top of each other for 5 days and four nights, so we thought we would stay at a VRBO Residence. The stay was fantastic, everything we needed was in place, everyone had their own space. I am now a believer. The space was exactly what we needed and wanted. Excellent Stay! ##### Clarence B. The location was far enough out to allow us to relax before and after the race and close enough to the bus routes and T lines for groups to venture out without the car. the house had everything we needed, Susan was quick with her communications when we had questions. definitely would recommend. ##### Jeff M. If you haven’t visited New England you’ll immediately be impressed with the architecture. The house is very spacious for guest to have privacy and meet up for activities. It’s clean nice and has everything you need. The best part is you can go to concert or game at Fenway or Gillette or both in the same weekend. We had fun no wonder this place gets great ratings. ##### Josh M. Six of us came across the country for a funeral in Boston. This was an excellent house. It is in a great location being just a few minutes drive from the T. Family was able to go out to the burbs for the funeral, but still close enough for the younger kids to see Boston during their downtime. There isn’t central air, but being in Boston that can be expected. The third bedroom is non conforming and you have to walk through it to get to the primary bedroom. Also, the online rules are a little different than the rules the home owner provides. But overall, it made the bitter sweet experience coming to Boston more enjoyable. ##### Andrew R.
