The apartment itself is new. Small but has everything we needed. 2 beds and a bathroom, a kitchen. The neighborhood is “transitional” as expected. A close T stop, grocery stores. No real restaurants that we found- but we were on foot primarily. Our only “con” is that as an older building directly on a busy corner- it was loud.
The check-in was simple and smooth. The easy-to-follow instructions were messaged to use through the app before our arrival. There are several eateries and a couple of food markets very close by. Downtown Boston is a reasonable Uber/Lyft ride away. The only reason we could only give three stars is that the neighborhood was very loud, and we could hear the horns and sirens throughout the night from the street below, even with the double-paned windows closed tightly. Overall, we enjoyed the property.
Didn’t get to stay entire trip because of family emergency. But, neighborhood is not good. Uber driver asked 3x if we were sure we were in right place. Found it odd and unsettling that the bedrooms had locks on the outside of the bedroom doors. These do not show up in the pictures. Wouldn’t recommend this place. Owner was pleasant and easy to reach but this place is not one I would recommend.
