Amazing!!
Our family loved this neighborhood. I could walk to my conference at Copley place and the subway was right around the corner. We enjoyed the local food and shopping. We’ll be back Ingrid!! :)

Great location in Boston
This is a fantastic location in Boston. We were able to walk most everywhere. Blackout curtains, coffee, a fan, and a good shower head were highly appreciated. Just a FYI- there is no “breakfast” despite the listing title. Most everything a couple would need for a few days.

Perfect Boston apartment
This small apartment was absolutely wonderful, with everything we needed. A charming, central location, a lovely interior, a cozy bed, and a very responsive and helpful owner. The space was perfect for a couple. We could not be happier with our stay and would highly recommend!

Long weekend getaway
This property was in a great location .. 2 blocks from Back bay metro station which helped with getting around the city . Also able to walk to a lot of the sights . Just the right size for my husband and son and I for the extended weekend.Had basic essentials / plenty of towels /coffee maker etc . Property was clean. Really enjoyed our time in Boston !

Wonderful location, pleasant accommodations, awesome host. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Southend, we both fell in love with Boston…especially the Red Sox. This rental is conveniently located near the Back Bay Station making it easy to get around town on the train lines. This is the place to stay in Boston!

Great Location, spacious one bedroom apartment
This apartment comfortably slept the four of us--two adults, a teen, and a tween. The building is beautiful on a quiet, tree-lined street in Back Bay. We loved exploring the neighborhood (with recommendations from our great host) as well as easily accessing the local T station, which brought us to all the local sites. We put our car in a local garage and did not need it once over the course of our five-day stay. It is worth noting for those with accessibility issues that there are quite a few steps up to the entrance. Overall, this was a great experience for us!

College Graduation
This was a great place to stay while in Boston for a college graduation. Location is walking distance to so many things. Transit station is just down the street, getting you anywhere in Boston. Would love to stay again for even longer and enjoy the neighborhood more.

Great Neighborhood and Comfortable Stay
My wife and I with two adult sons stayed and had a wonderful weekend! The apartment is comfortable and has everything needed. It was walkable to so many things to see in Boston and also close to transit stations. The host was easy to reach and very responsive. We would stay here again if we come back to Boston!

Had to cut the trip short, but the unit is wonderful. Really great location, fantastic neighborhood, place was cute and comfy and not too small. The access communication was way better than most, with information on getting in being clear and available well ahead of time.

Charming apartment in great Boston location
We loved the charm of the apartment and everything that the owner supplied to make our stay cozy. The only problem we had was the strong marijuana odor from the neighbors who lit up throughout the day and evening. Unfortunately, there was nothing the owner could do about it.

We had a wonderful time staying at Ingrid's townhome. The townhome was very clean, had plenty of quality amenities, and fun comfortable décor. The walkability was excellent. We never got in a car! Close to so many sites to see in Boston. We hope we get another chance to stay soon!

Just about everything you need
There were 3 of us, so we did use the pull out bed. I recommend you make available a thick mattress cover, maybe one of those egg carton ones. The pull out was not very comfortable but we were able to live with it. The rest of the parlor suite was great. Close enough to walk to several restaurants. Thank you! And thank you Erik for your help with the key that first evening.

The apartment was comfortable and accommodating for a tourist visit. There were a few rough edges, but overall nice. Good location and nice safe neighborhood. Easy to walk to Back Bay attractions and to subway.

Absolutely Perfect. Awesome neighborhood. So close to the T and walking distance of many attractions. The unit was updated and very comfortable. It was just the two of us so we didn’t use the pull out couch but the bed was great. Having a washer and dryer for clothes was PHENOMENAL! Would love to stay at this rental again if we ever revisit Boston. 10/10 recommend

The location of this property is superb - only a short walk into the city. It is pretty compact but what you miss in space you gain in having the opportunity to stay in a historical treasure. There is a very handy cafe on the corner of the street which we used for an excellent breakfast. The only thing I would change is replacing the large lamps on the tables next to the bed with smaller versions to enable phones, books etc to be stored there overnight.

Stayed with my wife and 2 kids for 4 nights. Excellent location, felt safe, walk or short Uber to everything. Property manager was very responsive. The room was great, except for the beds... Both bed's mattresses were soft, deformed, uncomfortable - unacceptable at this price point.

First VRBO Experience For Our Family!
Incredible property, Ingrid was a great host and greeted us upon our arrival. My wife and I were slightly nervous being our first VRBO experience and traveling with ourtwo kids (4 and 6 years old). Ingrid settled our minds with nice notes about the family friendly area, parks, and lots of family activities for us to do. We felt incredibly safe our entire stay, not just in our neighborhood but everywhere we visited in the city of Boston. We visited some local parks, used the subway, went to Fenway, visited the Aquarium, etc. Our kids had a blast and got to experience the city life for a bit. We stayed here while it was the hottest it had been in Boston in awhile. Was very fun. Would stay at this property again. Lots and lots of memories made that we will never forget. Boston made a huge, positive impression on us. Thank you for that!

Fantastic Stay
Such a quaint and beautiful property. We loved feeling like a local and soaking up all Boston has to offer. This property had everything we needed. The owners went above and beyond to provide anything you might possibly need while you stayed. We loved the cozy feel and the location was awesome.

Fantastic respite during a hectic conference
This is a lovely apartment. Owner provides many tourist pamphlets and maps to help you organize your sightseeing. Comfortable with all the amenities and very clean and well equipped. Instructions to get in the first day were accurate and easy to follow. Only 6 blocks from my conference so a comfortable walk and much more cost-effective than the big hotels. Couch, bed, and linens were extremely comfortable. There was a loud birthday party in the neighboring back yard on the Saturday night, but it quieted down at a reasonable hr. When I had an issue with the TV, Eric was right there to resolve. Would highly recommend this property. But be aware, the steps to the apartment was very steep.

Charming Location Close to EVERYTHING We Needed
We booked the Apple for our stay during the Boston Marathon with little information about lodging that week other than "if you're going, you need to book early". The Apple was absolutely perfect for our stay. The bed was comfortable and the parlor suite was bright and quiet but an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the finish line for the race. Our (very minimal) needs were addressed immediately, as Eric dropped off a coffee maker when we let the owner know there wasn't one there. Having a washer and dryer available was another huge plus. We hope to return soon!

Lovely and well-appointed brownstone studio in historic South End
My first VRBO rental has turned out to a 100% success! Lovely neighborhood - quiet, historic, brick sidewalk, low traffic. Easy short walk to restaurants, a corner coffee spot one way, a corner grocer the other. Prudential Center 10 minute walk one way, Back Bay Station 5 minutes the other. The studio itself is 2 rooms, high-ceilinged, and comfortable. Bed is comfortable. Kitchenette has a microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker, deep bar sink, marble countertop, full size frig w/ separate freezer, and electric hot water pot. Fully stocked with utensils and place settings. Washer/dryer in the closet. Bathroom is small but aethetically lovely (marble black and white tiles) and with decent water pressure. Enough outlets. Direct TV. Light enough. Warm/cool enough. A lovely lovely place. I’ll definitely be back.

We stayed at this brownstone for four nights following a cruise from Montreal to Boston. Our daughter met us in Boston. The Appleton residence fit our needs perfectly. We loved staying in a brownstone. It was in a great location, walkable to the Botanical Gardens and the Commons. It was clean and well-stocked. The bed was comfortable and our daughter did fine sleeping on the pull-out sofa. We had an excellent time and hope to stay there again. We would highly recommend it for exploring Boston.
