The property looks remote on the map but is quite convenient and we actually saw some of the most stunning and quintessential Scottish highland sceneries to and from the property (like the highland cows). The house is nice, spacious but cozy, and very clean, and has great view of the ocean. The host is very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. "It was our first time trying out a self catering apartment, and we really enjoyed the two nights there. Clean, spacious, it has almost everything you need, except for a laundry machine and shower gel /shampoo. Hazel (the family dog) was super friendly, and the sunset views were ridiculously gorgeous. Applecross is a tad remote, so come prepared with all the food supplies you need. "
