"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...

Hendoll Cottage 2

Fairbourne

10/10 Excellent

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ideal location for Fairbourne and surrounding area - you need to go to Dolgellau, Barmouth and try the Precipice Walk and Creggannan Lakes which were lovely walks with stunning views. Nice to get some milk and Welsh cakes which were lovely. Cottage was clean and comfortable, only minor negative was limited information about what to do at check out time, local contacts etc. and there wasn’t much in terms of cleaning equipment apart from a broom so couldn’t do...

Dyffryn Ardudwy

10/10 Excellent

Brilliant rural location, but also close to bus and train stops. The final direction to go down the narrow road that says farm only would be helpful. One bedroom is accessed via the single room, which I didn't pick up from the listing. Comfortable, rural house, very friendly and helpful owners. The beautiful beach is about 40 mins walk. The coast bus is ideal for walking from the neighborouing villages up rivers to see waterfalls, and onto hill moorland.

Hendoll Barn

Fairbourne

8/10 Good

The barn is beautiful and has been a pleasure to stay at. The layout works well, from the large open living space upstairs to the two bedrooms downstairs. There is plenty of storage space although for the second bedroom, this is in the hall area. We knew the area well as we had been on several previous occasions, staying in a property on the beach front. However, the ownership changed a few years ago and we have been looking for a suitable alternative and we have certainly found it....

Bari

Aberaeron

10/10 Excellent

Fabulous location just a stones throw from the beach. Everything you needed was in the cottage. Floors a bit creaky but to be expected in an old building. No trouble parking on the street though not sure if this is the case in the height of summer. Bit confusing about rubbish(other than a weekly collection mentioned) but found recyling bins on the promenade and a biffa bin near the harbour for general waste. Good collection of books (read 2 during my stay!)Would happily stay at Bari again.

An outdoor patio with a table and chairs, overlooking a green landscape with hills.

Pengeulan

Machynlleth

10/10 Excellent

Beautiful house and stunning views and location. Would highly recommend to able bodied people. Unfortunately the description Hotels.com. used was inaccurate and we would not have booked the property. There is NO - on site parking as stated. On arrival the property is located at the end of a terrace of 5 houses down an uneven path and through 2 gates. The nearest the car can park to off load was at the end of the terrace so all luggage had to be carried 90+ steps to the property. The car then had...
