"Beautiful location and garden grounds. The bathroom trash was full and a wet piece of underwear was also on the floor. We were charged $12 USD for using our credit card even though we chose charging in local currency. Breakfast buffet was low even by 8:30 but remaining fruits were fresh and tasty. We had had a late arrival (9:45pm) which we confirmed via email."

"Quiet waterfront property but very limited if travelling outside of their summer season. The rental is more intended for staycations rather than international tourists (e.g. only 2 towels are provided even though reservation was for 2 and bed sheets have to be ordered ahead of arrival). It should be noted that there are additional requirements for guests to manage or navigate with limited information, even with the dedicated website provided. Examples - 1) you must take the water and electricity measurement at the start and end of your stay. Would have been good to know exactly where they are with a bit more detail. 2) WiFi found was on a previous guest's hand written note. "

"Great food and lovely room, although I did bang my head on the slanted ceiling! The sea view was so lovely, and staff very knowledgeable for gluten free dishes. Lovely GF bread at breakfast too! "

"I usually do not post reviews at Expedia but I think it is important to warn about the experience, I recently had at Jungshoved Præstegård. When I arrived, I was told by the person, who checked me in that the room I had booked, the Classic room, only had a shared bathroom a fact I had not noticed at the reservation. When she, a young woman from Ukraine, saw my reaction, she was kind enough to offer me a room with a bathroom, because, as she said, you are the only guest anyway. I was of course happy with the solution and enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend for another night. Later, I met the owner of the place, who appeared very forthcoming and nice until she at checkout in a very unpleasant way informed me, that the room I had occupied was much more expensive than the one I had paid for and on a very businesslike way presented me with an extra charge of 3000 kroner. The amount included 3 breakfasts but still, an outrageous amount, in particular since I was not informed that the change of room would be charged on top of what I already had paid. When I tried to challenge the amount, she became very agitated and consequently I decided to pay and put the entire thing on my very short list of unfortunate travel experiences. To add to the bad attitude, I was denied a late check out, even though the place was empty and no one else needed the room. "
