With about 100 square meters, it offers plenty of space for up to 6 people. In addition, the large garden invites you to relax. Garden furniture is also available. The house is located behind the dunes of the south beach. The main entrance to the south beach is only a 3-minute walk away. The apartment is ideal for families. Cot and high chair are available. In the house entrance area there is space for bicycles, handcarts, beach toys, etc. A parking space in front of the house can be used free of charge. There are two bedrooms. With one double bed and one single bed. In addition, a children's (cot) bed is available. The spacious bathroom is equipped with two sinks, a shower and bathtub. The new kitchen (2019) is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, ceramic hob and seating area for 6 people. The cozy living room offers a wonderful panoramic view of the dunes. Couch and reading armchairs invite you to relax. Bed linen and towels are sufficiently available and an internet connection with WLAN is available. Washer and dryer can also be used for a small fee. We would be happy to welcome you in our apartment. Das hat allen voran mit unseren Gastgebern und Ihrer traumhaft schönen und geräumigen Ferienwohnung, sowie dem großen Garten, der zur Nutzung mit zur Verfügung stand, zu tun. Küche und Bad sind modern ausgestattet und lassen nichts missen. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr großzügig und erlaubt einen tollen Blick auf den Garten. Die Wohnung liegt direkt hinter den Dünen und ist nur einen Steinwurf vom malerischen Südstrand entfernt. Auch die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig leicht zu erreichen. Check-in und die Kommunikation mit unseren Gastgebern liefen herrlich reibungslos und unverstellt - so wünscht man sich das!Unser "Drei-Generationen-Urlaub" auf Borkum war viel zu kurz und verging viel zu schnell, aber dieser Eindruck ist wohl stets ein gutes Zeichen für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt. Das machte den Strandbesuch natürlich sehr komfortabel. Was vergessen? Kein Problem schnell zurück in die Wohnung und holen. Hauptgrund unserer Reise war aber nicht der Strandbesuch sondern die Hochzeit unserer Tochter. Das Haus und die Wohnung sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen (70er Jahre), Küche recht modern. Es fehlt aber an heilen Pfannenwendern und Brotmesser (gar nicht vorhanden). Die Ecken in der Dusche sind dreckig/ Schimmel auf dem Silikon. Die Klobürste gibt es bestimmt auch schon Jahre (braun und eklig). Die Münz-Waschmaschine läuft nur mit 5x 50 Cent Stücken, ebenso der Trockner. Das ist wirklich nervig. Im Urlaub möchte man doch ungestört waschen können nach dem Strand! Mega umständlich. Der Badestrand ist überwacht (DLRG)…In der Nähe gibt es am Strand einen Spielplatz. Man kann sich einen Strandkorb direkt am Spielplatz (Schaukel, vogelnestschaukel, Bagger, Rutsche, Wasserpumpe, …) mieten und die Kinder können spielen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Man hat vom Wohnzimmer einen Blick in die Dünnen und in den schönen Garten. Trotz der Lage ist es sehr ruhig. Zum Markant-Markt sind es mit dem Rad nur wenige Minuten. Der Zugang zur Wohnung durch den Keller ist tatsächlich perfekt. Alle sandigen Strandsachen können dort verbleiben. Fahrräder kann man sich in der Nähe ausleihen… Fazit: Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Wohnung und auf Borkum. Unser persönliches Fazit: Perfekte Lage der Wohnung. Mit dem Rad ist man schnell im Ort, zu Fuß ist es ein schöner Spaziergang am Strand entlang, der sich allerdings für Leute die nicht mehr ganz so unbeschwert laufen können oder auch für kleine Kinder ziemlich zieht. Haltestellen für Bus und Inselbahn sind gute 15 Minuten Fussweg entfernt. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Sandige Kleidung und Schuhe verbleiben außerhalb der Wohnung im Eingangsbereich. Die Vermieterin ist super nett und kümmert sich umgehend und mit großem Engagement um evt auftretende Probleme (bei uns war es der Fernseher). Die Wohnung besticht durch den großzügigen Grundriss und ein riesiges Badezimmer. Die Einbauküche ist neuwertig und gut bestückt. Toll ist auch der große schöne Garten. Zur Insel: Fahrräder sind fast ein Muss, damit können dann aber auch alle Orte problemlos erreicht werden. Der Nordstrand ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, die etwas anstrengende Anfahrt wird durch ein traumhaftes Stranderlebnis belohnt. Weitere lohnende Ausflugsziele: der neue Leuchtturm und das Feuerschiff Borkumriff im Hafen. ##### Karl-Peter F. Die Größe war perfekt, zwei 3-köpfige Familien oder wie wir eine vierköpfige mit Großeltern-Begleitung passen prima ins Apartment und dank des geräumigen Wohnzimmers und des großen Gartens ist auch genug Platz für alle vorhanden. Die Ausstattung ist vorbildlich, wer waschen möchte, sollte ein paar 50 Cent Stücke vorhalten (5 zum Waschen, 4 zum Trocknen).
