"We just stayed for a night but I wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy the place. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. They also have a restaurant within the hotel and we really appreciate Boda (staff in the restaurant) who really took care of our breakfast. He entertained us very well.too bad never got the chance to enjoy their pool. Not enough time for us."

"What a cool experience to stay in this tower! We met our host and were able to meet/scratch/feed and love a few of her horses, which is always a treat. Overall, I am unsure who (the kids or us) were more excided to stay in the Tower. The floors are all open, but it still felt like we were in our own spaces. We were blessed with the aurora about 4 am, so we sat in the tower and watched the sky dance until the sun came up. A great treat when the wind is bone chilling. We went to the hot...

"Great stay! The room was nice and cozy. It included a mini fridge and a stove, which came in handy. The bed, blanket, and pillows were all so comfortable. A great stay after a long travel and busy day.
The offered breakfast from 0800 to 1000. I didn't go, but my husband said they had scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, milk, boiled eggs, coffee, brownies, bread, and tea.
I'm not sure if anything will change after our start because when we checked out, two gentlemen mentioned they were setting up a new system because they were taking over the hotel."
"Had a peaceful night’s sleep here for our stop at Borgarnes. Room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The kitty at the lobby was very cute too!"
Luxury House with Hot Tub close to Snæfellsnes National Park, Iceland top five
10/10 Excellent
"Heidi and Rob have the most comfortable and thoughtful home to share. Beautiful setting in a woodland area just northwest of Borgarnes. Perfect location to explore Snaefellsness, Diamond Circle, Golden Circle and Reykjavik. We needed nothing. Well stocked kitchen, super comfy beds, pillows, and linens, plenty of towels for hot tub. Layout of the common area was just perfect for our group of six women. The local Netto was perfect to get groceries. We ate breakfast and supper at the house and lunch somewhere on the road. Also found the Pufan Woodfire Pizza in Borgarnes for excellent thin crust pizzas. We couldn't figure the phone order, so one of the group drove over while we were shopping and we picked it up on the way home. I would highly recommend this home away from home."

"Really great stay, luckily had the site to myself. Home had an antique farmhouse charm in the countryside. Equipped with all the amenities to enjoy a nice night in or prepare you for a little adventure in the city. Stayed in the upstairs loft, again rustic and original. Great view of the sky from all angles. If you stay at this guesthouse I highly recommend giving yourself to enjoy the space. Also listen to the birds outside on the veranda while the sun sets and a glass of whiskey. Slainte"
