Property promoted working air conditioning. NO Air conditioning at all. The sanitary conditions also below par. The manager understood our perceptions and the real situation or conditions at the moment and refunded payment charged.

Hôtel avec accès direct au centre ville en TRAM
Bon séjour au B&B Bordeaux centre Bègles. La reception se fait par un accueil physique. Les chambres sont fonctionnelles et propres. En cas de forte circulation, le bruit de la route peut être fatiguant. Très fort lorsque la fenêtre est ouverte. L'accès au centre ville par la ligne de Tram en bas de l'Hotêl est très pratique.

Nice hotel, good breakfast and easy to locate. Was a simple option for an overnight stay but if I was exploring Bordeaux it is maybe a bit far out to walk and the surrounding area can be a bit intimidating at night but was fine for what we needed.

Great location! Just 15 min from city centre by tram line C that stops in front of the B&B. Room was cleaned and comfortable. As we arrived we found a very nice and welcoming staff at the reception. Totally recommend!

Nice and convenient to public transport
Found this Hotel very good, Receptionist was super helpful and spoke good English. The tram stop was across the road and took us directly into Bordeaux city centre. Only downside was, I think it must have been some sort of an alarm went off at 1.00am and it took about 10 minutes before someone turned it off, needless to say everyone on 3rd floor was woken and standing in passageway wondering what was happening.

excellent spot and great price
We found this little gem last minute needing a hotel close to the train station in Bordeaux. The beds were comfy, the coffee fantastic, the price was excellent. The shower had great water pressure and was nice and hot. Didn't try the breakfast because we went to the nearby cafe. Cafe, brasserie, grocery store and pharmacy all within a block. This was our favorite hotel for the comfort, price and location. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect for our needs
Stayed here for one night for the Bordeaux Marathon. 20 mins from centre by tram but the tram stop was directly outside the hotel and frequent service, so great location wise. Hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient. Vending machines available 24/7 - great. Front desk were courteous and helpful. Shops outside hotel include patisserie and convenience store. If looking for good value and you don't mind the tram rides, i'd happily have stayed longer.

Clean, simple, easy to get into the city centre
The hotel ticked the boxes for our stay. We stayed 4 nights and had a pleasant stay. You get a code for the room and wifi, which is easier than a keycard. The room was clean and comfortable. There are no tea/coffee facilities or free toiletries in the rooms. There is body wash/soap installed in the shower though. The shower was warm and had good pressure. Everything was clean and new. Our towels were changed daily. Check-in was easy, but note you will pay local tax upon arrival. There are vending machines in the lobby for instant coffee/tea/snacks. We didn't try the breakfast. The supermarket and restaurant next door were both handy. The tram is convenient and runs late on weekends, so commuting is very easy. Recommend the hotel.

Made the mistake of booking a four bed room for us two couples, would have been ok for kids but should have booked separate rooms. Very cramped room with barely any room for our luggage or to walk between beds. Very clean though, and comfortable beds. A little way out of the city, about a 45 minute walk, or 10 minutes by tram.

Comfortable and clean hotel. There is a tram stop outside the hotel. It is quite a long walk from the city centre. Trams were on strike whilst we were there. Breakfast is available at the hotel but there are cafes and a supermarket very close by.

Enjoyable Stay at B&B Begles
Very enjoyable stay - the hotel is new and everything is clean and comfortable. There is a tram stop directly outside the hotel, 3 stops from the train station and 7 from the Bordeaux city centre so very easy to get around, and not really a different suburb (Begles) as the name would suggest. There is also a very nice restaurant 30 seconds walk away which is reasonably priced

Great for a short break
Stayed at hotel for Euro 2016. The hotel is quite a walk from central Bordeaux but there is a tram stop outside the front door. Cafe, bar and shop next to the hotel and staff very helpful. Room is quite small but you probably won't spend much time there and the rooms are very quiet, clean and the bed really comfortable.

Comfortable small room. No toiletries. I wasn't charged the bed tax on my credit card so it was paid for me by the lovely lady at reception. Eggs and bacon at breakfast were unappetising but the rest was generous and pleasant. The breads and croissants were first rate

Nice new no-frills hotel
This is a French chain hotel, similar to Ibis. It didn't show up for me when searching for hotels in Bordeaux as it's in Begles which is a suburb of Bordeaux, but I think this is just a technicality as it's directly behind the Bordeaux train station. The hotel has only recently been built (2015) so it's in great condition. The rooms were simple, but very clean and comfortable. The shower was strong and so was the Wi-Fi. The neighbourhood is quiet (and so are the rooms), but you can get into the centre of Bordeaux on the tram which stops directly out the front of the hotel - tickets are cheap. It's only a couple of minutes to the train station, or you could walk there in about 15. Staff are helpful and speak English. There is a supermarket, a bakery and a restaurant next to the hotel (you get a discount at the restaurant if you stay at the hotel). When booking please note that the disabled access rooms come up first - don't book one of these unless you need it!

Convenient to the tram stop just outside the hotel, which takes you straight into downtown in about 10 minutes! Close to the train station (less than 5 minutes by tram). Would stay here again!

Lovely hotel- good transport links
Stayed over for 3 nights in a business trip. Found it to be a very enjoyable stay even though I was slightly dubious about booking as it is a new hotel and not many reviews exist. Best things were the wifi which is very good Al round the hotel, the staff are very friendly and speak good English. The tram, bakery and supermarket are all located within a minute of the hotel so amenities are plenty.
