And with no steps to the entrance, the ease of entering and exiting the main level of this wonderful home makes it perfect for those who are challenged by steps. The Main level consists of a large living room with a large flat panel smart TV with DVD player, cathedral ceilings, plenty of windows overlooking the mountain views, and hardwood flooring, a half bathroom, a separate dining area with bay windows and views, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with Jenn-Aire appliances, a screened-in porch with an outdoor cast-iron picnic style dining set and a large gas grill, and an open wrap-around furnished upper deck. Step outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air as you relax around the gas firetable on the deck. Also on the main level is the master suite with queen bed, smart HDTV and private bathroom with a shower. Upstairs is an open loft with 2 twin beds and a private bathroom with shower. Downstairs is a second living room with stone, gas-log fireplace, smart TV with DVD player, and an 8-in-one game table that includes mini pool, checkerboard, and air hockey. There's a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with a full bed, a shared full bathroom with clawfoot bathtub with shower, a laundry room, and a large lower deck with a wonderfully relaxing hot tub. Outside has a fenced in area for pets and family to run around and burn off a little extra energy! Misty Mountain Hideaway is located just 10 minutes to downtown Blowing Rock and is convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, the major ski & tubing resorts and all other High Country attractions. ADDITIONAL NOTES \- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations. \- Pet Rent: $25/nt per pet plus tax. Max of 2 mature, well-trained dogs under 30lb only. \- Note that this home offers limited parking. There is room for a max of two (2) cars. Oversized/long vehicles are not recommended. \- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided \- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am \- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. \- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. \- No smoking inside the home. It is a place I would like to return to again. The home was perfect for us. We had 6 adults and a dog. Plenary of room and beautiful views. It was super close to downtown Blowing Rock. We loved the house and especially the hot tub after skiing! It’s a bit of a drive to the slopes but we didn’t mind seeing the scenery along the way. Close to everything, lovely layout, beautiful views, excellent hot tub, and plenty of kids toys and games. Oh, and the master shower is AMAZING. We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful property that was very clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved all the natural light the main level got! It was such a happy and cozy stay. It had everything we needed to cook, rest, relax and have fellowship with one another.
