This is a great location central to Boone. The house has all needed amenities, comfortable furniture and is spotless. We have stayed yearly and look forward to returning in a few weeks.
Cabin was very pleasant; rooms were comfortable. Enjoyed hot tub and foosball table amenities. Only drawbacks were living room sofas were dated; and some electrical outlets were not secured into wall. We would consider staying here again.
We had a wonderful time visiting with our 2 sons, our daughter-in-law and our 20-month-old grandson. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed the peaceful and quite surroundings.
Nice escape from the heat and humidity at this cabin. Enjoyed our time on the porch watching and listening to the rain fall. It's very close to Boone but offers a peaceful, quiet place to relax.
Super clean, perfect size and location! We loved our getaway and visit to ASU! The location was perfect for getting to town and campus but secluded in the woods for relaxing!
We had a great time in this comfy house, close to hikes and close to city of Boone. Easy check in/out, great porches and wnjoues the hot tub too. Comfy beds and we felt right at home!
My family and I had a great stay in that cabin. The house was clean and met the needs of our family. Communication with the owner was great, and will look to stay again.
We came to enjoy a day at Appalachian Ski Mtn. The house was perfect for our family of six. The kids loved the game room upstairs and we all enjoyed the hot tub.
We had a very nice stay. It was a comfortable and cozy house in a secluded and quaint neighborhood. Close enough to ASU but you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle of the campus.
We really enjoyed staying here for Parent Weekend. It was close and very clean but you can also feel secluded. The only thing we could've used is separate towels for the jacuzzi.
Our family and little dog stayed the weekend. It was a nice, cozy, clean cabin. Carpet looked new. It was tucked away and private, but also very convenient to town. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and the fooz ball table, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay again!
Lovely cabin and perfect distance from Boone and App State
Loved the coziness and location of the cabin. The jacuzzi is a huge plus. My husband, daughter and her friend really enjoyed their mountain escape and opportunity to check out App State. Thank you!
This was a great house with a nice covered porch, quiet setting and less than 10 minutes to campus. Five adults, two dogs and plenty of room. We didn’t cook a meal, but we used the nice jacuzzi, fireplace and tv and all worked well. We’ll be back!
First time visiting the area and found this great property. Property owner was very friendly, courteous, and answered messages in a very timely manner. Property had everything we could ask for and was very clean, tons of amenities, and close to everything in town without being IN town, which is a plus. Would recommend this property and host! 5-stars all the way around.
We stayed the weekend for a football game at ASU. The property was easy to get to, in a beautiful location, and was very clean - just as pictured. This was our first time staying anywhere other than a hotel. I had a few questions that were responded to super quick. Donna was very nice and easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again!
First, we had a wonderful stay in this cabin and overall good impressions. There are some things my group suggests to enhance the experience and comfort. The kitchen is dark, the light over the sink and under the counter lights did not work. It's also strange to see a camera inside the rental home (even if facing the outdoors). The coffee pot is old and the burner is not very hot. The surface heat on the stove and oven is slow and inconsistent, and the one large cooking pan was mediocre at best. The furniture is as shown, but as a warning, not very comfortable and is old/very worn. Having no access to a washer and dryer in a house rental for more than a few days (we stayed 5) was not ideal, especially when we were given six bath towels for six guests, and no additionals for use with the hot tub (our kids used hand towels). Again, these are suggestions, nothing would prohibit me from visiting again, I would simply advise future visitors so they are prepared. The host was very responsive from start to finish and I believe wants all guests to have a wonderful experience at this cozy and secluded cabin.
