True to its name, this adorable getaway packs in everything you and your family need for a relaxing yet fun-filled getaway including a newly added lower level game room! There are no stairs to enter the home; just a mildly sloped path from the gravel parking pad. The main room offers a light and airy layout, with an updated kitchen featuring leathered granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and custom easy-close cabinets. There's room for 3 to sit at the bar, and a table for two by a window awaits as well. Kick back on the microsuede couches and relax in front of the gas log fireplace and stream your favorite shows on the SmartTV, equipped with your favorite streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube TV. Time for bed? The two bedrooms at the cottage are tastefully decorated and are sure to help everyone catch a restful night of sleep. The primary bedroom has a King bed and Smart TV; and the second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed, and there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The bathroom is off the hall, and comes with a stacked washer/dryer as well as a stone tiled shower. This home now features a lower level game room with a foosball table and a kid friendly dart board. Breathe in the cool mountain air outside. Grill up dinner at the gas grill and enjoy it on the patio table. After dinner, roast smores in the firepit. Perfectly located within walking distance to the entrance gate of Appalachian Ski Mountain, Cozy Cottage is less than 10 minutes to either Boone or Blowing Rock and the wonderful shopping and dining experiences in both towns. Plan your getaway today! ADDITIONAL INFO \-Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night. \-This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home. \-The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March for snow and ice, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months. \-Lower level has is a lower height for the ceiling, and it is not centrally heated. There is a fan heater provided for added comfort. Additional Notes: \- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided. \- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am \- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. \- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. \- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. \- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. \- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. \- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. \- This home is not pet friendly. Everything is brand new, updated, clean and so well put together. This was perfect for our family with an infant and 2.5 year old. The master room was plenty big to fit the bassinet for the baby and the bunk was great for our toddler. We talked about coming back for the ski season and would love to stay at this location again. 10 out of 10 hands down! Oh! And customer service was on point! Our code didn’t work when we arrived at 9 PM. With an over tired toddler and hungry infant we were so nervous about someone getting back to us. It’s wasn’t 2-3 minutes when our call was returned and we were granted access immediately. ##### Leslie W. A cozy space with everything you need for a mountain getaway - proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, and Boone, a remarkably well-appointed kitchen, outdoor spaces including fire pit and back deck for sipping coffee in the woods, and a quiet road in a small neighborhood of homes. You could walk to Appalachian Ski if that’s on your docket! When Tweetsie Railroad is open, you can hear the train whistles when you’re outside, but they stop around 10 pm and are not disturbing. ##### Laurie W. As I read before, the mattress was not very comfortable. Floors were not level. Kitchen was adequate. I would request that access to real time news and tv programs be available. Smart TVs are the “in” thing, but if that is what you offer, at least have one channel that gives real time news. Also, did not appreciate an envelop left asking for a tip for the housekeeper. ##### susan s. We have always loved sitting around the fire enjoying each other’s company and this house had the perfect spot! The back porch had a gate to the stairs with was helpful for us with small children. The neighborhood is on a circle drive and many are out walking regularly and quite friendly. The house was well equipped with all we needed. It was small but with the open concept we never felt on top of each other. It is a short drive to LOTs of fun attractions like Tweetsie, Blue Ridge Parkway, and many others. As it states in the listing, I would be cautious to rent during winter months as getting there may be a challenge. Parking 2 cars is feasible, more than that could pose a challenge. ##### Joey H.
