What a beautiful cabin and perfect way to enjoy App State football. The house had everything we needed, and we loved all the windows and gorgeous views of Boone. My son commented that this was his favorite cabin that we have ever rented.
Unbelievable views. Good weather, see mountains for miles. Bad weather, sit on the porch and be in the clouds. Amazing skies at sunset. No traffic as only 1 house above you before the park at the mountain's (Howard's Knob) peak.
Celebrated our son’s graduation from ASU. This house was perfect! Gorgeous view of mountains and aerial view of downtown Boone. We took a lot of pics of our graduate with the amazing backdrop! Love all the areas to gather both inside and out! We cooked 2 meals in the kitchen and played many rounds of pool!
We stayed in Boone for 2 days prior to our daughter's wedding nearby. We were able to enjoy shopping and eating in Boone plus relaxing together at this house. We had friends stop in to visit us and they thought we had really found a gem!
We really enjoyed our stay and the town of Boone! Would highly recommend this property. Terrific view and accommodations. Our dogs loved going to Howards Knob park every day. It was easy to get up and down the mountain into town. Will be back one day soon!
We do a winter get away to the area every year for our sons birthday. he loves seeing snow. This was defintely a nicer house then where we have stayed in the past and fairly priced. The views from the back deck are amazing. The rooms are spacious and overall house kept in great condition. very short trip to get to essentials for shopping/dining etc. we were fortunate enough to have snow for sledding and the kids loved it. good chance we would visit here again next winter.
INCREDIABLE VIEWS, WILL STAY AGAIN. ONLY ISSUE WAS THE HOT TUB HAD WAY TO MUCH CHLORINE, CAUSED COUGHING AND ONLY USED 15 MINUTES. OTHERWISE, LOVED THE HOME AND LOCATION.
The home was as advertised. As stated, the two baths in the master require entry into the master. The other two bedrooms on the first level share a hall bath. Great views from the property and a very good location to access Boone. Dining table has some chairs in disrepair and not sturdy. Other furniture in nice condition. Kitchen well equipped.
Our family of 5 (furbaby too) travels alot and this place by far, exceeded our expectations! I'm obsessed with cleanliness and the home was spotless from top to bottom!
Beds were extremely comfortable with fresh smelling bedsheets and room darkening shutters that left you soundly sleeping in. (Heavenly for a mom of 3)!
Location was perfect, with a quick drive down the mountain into the heart of town. Highly recommend 4-wheel drive if there's even a slight chance of snow.
The house was fully stocked and Stacey was quick to respond if needed. We were in NO rush to leave and were even granted a late check out. 😊
Grateful for the hospitality. We will most definitely be back.
We have been traveling to the area from Florida for 12 years and this locations view is by far the most spectacular overlook of Boone. The drive up the mountain is easily manageable and the house makes for a comfortable hosting location for big families.
