We had the most amazing time, and OIvia made everything so easy. The river being so close was incredible, and we loved the fire pit! It was a very memorable stay for us, and we cannot wait to go back!
I used this for an overnight retreat with three other guys and it was really perfect for this purpose. And I'd love to bring my family some time in the future:).
This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as amazing (if not better) than the first time we stayed! The cabin is so cozy and the property is beautiful with views and sounds of the Blackfoot River. We will be back again for a 3rd time!
We enjoyed our stay immensely. Easy to access, easy check in, all the comforts you'd expect and all just steps from the magical Blackfoot River. A perfect setting. Would love to stay in the summer and enjoy the outside space.
For many years the Blackfoot River has been our favorite rafting and fishing river. The location of your cabin was perfect for convenient put in and take out at different spots on the river. The cabin was well-equipped and comfortable. A perfect place to make some grand Montana memories.
My family and I are returning guests and we absolutely love it here. The cabin is well appointed, cozy and has everything you need. Spending time with coffee on the deck each morning and sitting by the fire pit in the evenings just adds to the warmth and charm of the experience. Seeley Lake is nearby, and Missoula is within 40 minutes. It is an ideal location!
Love everything about this wonderful and cozy cabin! It is the perfect peaceful and serene setting. I adore the proximity to the Blackfoot River, the "thinking tree" right out the front picture windows, the cozy fireplace. The house is well stocked with everything you could need to cook. The layout is perfect for families- lots of comfortable beds and bathrooms dedicated to each one. No need to look any further for an amazing place to stay!
Olivia was wonderful - she provided everything that we asked for - saran, foil and beach towels - to name a few. Kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated and enjoyed the fresh local coffee and granola bars provided for us. Spent most of our time outside on the back deck enjoying the gorgeous view and sounds of the Blackfoot River.
The river is beautiful, swimming great for relaxing on rocks, not actual swimming. The cabin/kitchen was well stocked for utensils and basic condiments. There were a few repairs that need attention-screen door broken and first floor bedroom window needs handle to open it. The propane for bbq ran out first night but owner took care of it quickly. The few inconveniences did not turn us off. We all loved the cabin and location and hope to return in the future.
We had the best time at the river house. It is in a perfectly secluded spot, with excellent almost 100% private river frontage. There were several days that we didn't see any other people at all! The scenery, the house, the porch, everything was absolutely perfect. We cant wait to come back. Our dogs were in absolute heaven as well. I don't think any of usbhave ever been so relaxed.
This Blackfoot River retreat was the perfect place for a family gathering!
We had a group of several people ranging in age from 13 - 60. This cabin had activities on the property and nearby for everyone!
The kitchen was stocked perfectly for us to prep and make meals at the cabin. We were able to bring yard games to keep everyone busy and having a good time. A simple walk out the backdoor to the river to cool down in the water and watch some fish jump. What more could you need?
We were able to conveniently float the Blackfoot with river access so close by. We also had groups separate for easy nearby activities. One group hiked to Morrell Falls and the other golfed at Double Arrow. Ending the day with delicious steaks at Lindey's. All activities were just a short distance away from the cabin.
We really enjoyed our time on and near the river. We hope to book this place again.
We loved the cabin for a week with friends and family. It is the perfect size for our group. The cabin is has the right amount of personal touches to feel authentic without being kitschy. The location is great for recreating in the Seeley Lake area or further up the Blackfoot while still being close enough to Missoula for a quick trip to town if needed. We definitely hope to stay here again!
This was our 4th stay and we just love it so much. The property is beautiful and the cabin is cozy and fit the needs of our 7 person group. The location is wonderful, right off of the Blackfoot River and the forest is right next door.
Excellent location. Beautiful setting with Mountain View’s and a river running behind the property. Very clean house with 3 full bathrooms. Fully loaded with all the amenities. Host was quick to respond to e-mails and gave very clear instructions. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay!
