Air Conditioner and heating unit.Negatives: External toilet and shower facilities which if it is raining you get wet everytime you visit the bathroom. Bugs a spiders galore inside the cabin. Photos misleading, cabin is not on the water front. Very steep decent from road to cabin to water front. Holes in cabin verandah roof so rain poured into our shoes which were left under the verandah. Lots of farm rubbish left around river access area. Slightly over priced accommodation, given the issues already mentioned."

"We were particularly impressed with the hotel staff, who were obviously very well trained in hospitality, and with the cleanliness of our room. The restaurant and breakfast food was good. Best of all was the twilight safari operated by Monarto Safari Park staff. Our biggest suggestion for improving the resort experience is that the car park is moved to the side of the hotel so that people with rooms facing the car park have something more attractive to see. We also suggest that walking tracks around the hotel are constructed. It’s a wonderful environment for walks. "

"We booked our accommodation 4 months before arrival date through a third party. The property’s policy is free cancellation is up to 14 days before arrival. Unfortunately a family member and one of our travelling group became gravely ill and passed away so we were unable to drive to the property as originally planned. We rang the property 5 days before to ask if they could offer some compensation or date transfer due to compassionate circumstances. They stated their cancellation policy and asked if we need to cancel to let them know ASAP so they could rent the cabin to others They were credited on the booking date. If they had have offered us a % refund if they can rebook the cabin, we would’ve cancelled at that time. They did not offer that service, which we felt lacked compassion. "
