Very comfortable, friendly and had great amenities. Pool area and rooftop could use some touching up and maintenance.

Unfortunately the hotel communication is terrible resulting in a number of issues. The hotel has no hot water, but this is not made clear when booking The manager and hotel director are incredibly helpful, and want to do a good job but unfortunately there are multiple issues. The view is gorgeous, there’s a dj during the day. The hotel has a lot of potential but Expedia position this as 4star, it is not. It is mid 3 star. My suggestion would be to lower expectations. Food is expensive for the standard here

Great stay at Casona del Colegio. The hotel is beautiful and room was spacious and comfortable. But our room faced the street and despite being soundproof it was quite loud at night with party goers, shouting and music blaring (it’s not the quietest street in town). Even in the morning the city’s cleaning crew made lots of noise. We also had sporadic issues with no hot water and low water pressure. The staff were always incredibly kind and helpful though. Offered solutions like earplugs (which helped), changing rooms to a courtyard facing one and fixed the water immediately when we called
