"We enjoyed our stay. The waterfront location is wonderful. The cottage was exceptionally clean with all the necessities for cooking/grilling, kayaking, floating in the lake, etc. The hosts were also very quick to respond to any communication. The main downside is the lack of AC, which in fairness is disclosed in the listing. However, as luck would have it, we visited during a very hot and then smoky stretch, and sleeping was rather uncomfortable, especially with a little one. My understanding is that an AC unit might be coming in the future which would be an excellent enhancement to the property."

"The location is great, the host is friendly and responsive. We felt the photos oversold the place a bit. The floors are so uneven the doors to the bedrooms/bathrooms don’t close. There’s a strong mold smell that’s trying to be covered with febreeze. One window a/c unit for the whole house and it’s not enough. House could use a little TLC."

"Perfect Lake Leelenau house. Right on the narrows. Cute dock, canoe and kayak were a great bonus. We loved the huge yard, bonfire pit, deck and space inside the house. Location was close awesome too. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shop and market. We would definitely like to stay here again!"
