Renovated 1971 Airstream on an 80 acre animal rescue farm in Westville IN

"Stay here!! This property is truly magical. The grounds are beautiful, the Airstream is absolutely adorable, and it is surprisingly comfortable. (It’s usually an oxymoron to say a pullout couch is comfortable, but this was honestly the most comfortable pullout bed we’ve ever slept on! Queen size in addition to the two built in twins gave us options.) The Airstream has everything you could possibly need, including a surprisingly spacious shower.Jennifer is the most wonderful host — warm, welcoming, and clearly someone who has poured so much love into this special property. Her antique business on-site is a beautiful event space and a treasure trove of things to explore, right alongside her father’s vintage car restoration workshop. My son absolutely feasted his eyes on all of the incredible cars in progress!And then there are the animals. The peace and tranquility of the property is made even more special by the beautiful rescue horses, goats, and even a goose, all quietly grazing around the property in the mornings. It feels like a little world of its own.And a little P.S.: you absolutely must pick up Jennifer’s children’s book, Figgy Goes to the Farm, if you have kids or grandkids in your life. I brought a copy home, and reading it together gave my kids the biggest giggling fits — such a sweet souvenir from an already unforgettable stay.We absolutely loved our time here and would come back in a heartbeat (actually already booked again!). A truly special place! "

"Great little spot for a vacation. My stayed for a long weekend. The pontoon was such a bonus, it really made the trip for us with three small kids. Very conveniently to have it right there on the property with everything you need, life jackets etc. It’s a small cabin with all the basic needs. Comfortable. Great communication from the hosts. It’s a gem. We will be back."

"I arrived at the hotel after being discharged from a local hospital. I was traveling from NY to Colorado by motorcycle when I was hit by a truck. After 2 days in the hospital, I booked this hotel to recover, treat my wounds and wait for my motorcycle to be inspected. I ended up staying at Waterbird for 6 nights. The staff was amazing. So kind, caring and helpful. My room was quite large, comfortable and clean. The private lakeside deck was the perfect spot to drink morning coffee and relax while my wounds started to heal. Thank you so much, Missy and Max at the front desk. Thank you to Christina, Jessica, and Tracy, the housekeepers who made sure I had what I needed each day. I am truly grateful."

"We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home while we were in town for a family wedding. The home was absolutely lovely, comfortable, and spacious, with everything we could have needed. It truly felt like a home away from home and was the perfect place for our family to gather and spend time together during such a special occasion.The home was beautifully maintained, thoughtfully equipped, and incredibly welcoming. The host provided an abundance of household supplies, snacks for the kids, and welcome bottles of wine for the adults after a long day of traveling. Our host Kurt was awesome! He was accommodating, responsive, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while celebrating such a meaningful family milestone.Our only regret was that we didn't get to take the pontoon boat, kayaks, or canoe out with the kids because of the heavy rain. Next time!We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable place to stay!"

Speaking of the garbage cans, they create a blind spot when you're pulling out, so please be careful. Overall, it’s a great and comfortable place to stay."
