New property and kept very clean. Suites are spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast and hot tea available at night. Would highly recommend
We enjoyed staying at the new place. We frequently come to visit Michigan City.
Not a bad place, they are still trying to get their gears going.
Rooms are looooong and good sized, but that makes the bathrooms a little smaller, to be expected for more room! We liked that!
It would have been convenient if the laundry facilities were working during our stay. They were apparently full of quarters and they didn’t have access to a key to empty them.
Pool area was hot if you weren’t swimming, which would be good for winter weather but not summertime!
Breakfast was okay, it’s what you would expect from a continental…
The property does not take cash for anything (except the laundry facilities of course lol)
TBH I don’t know if we would stay here again, but we might…
The room was amazing. It was larger than expected, clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed. The staff were amazing. I would highly recommend and will be planning another stay next time we are in the area! Thank you for an awesome experience!
Our room floor was soaked. The bathroom fan was missing in the cabinet. The shower ceiling had water damage and a huge hole that needed to be patched. The air ran and because the floor wax so wet it was like sleeping in a steam room. For the price. Very disappointed. Put in a room the apparently wasn’t finished being fixed.
We arrived August 14, 2026. We were assigned a room, we went up to our room and it was dirty. Came back downstairs the lady at the desk said that they were sold out. There were no available rooms. She was there by herself housekeeping had left and she would have to clean the room herself. I suggested she talk to a manager and possibly give us a room that was ready for someone who has not arrived yet. That’s exactly what she did. She was very apologetic and very helpful. I appreciated that we were giving a new room quickly. The room we were given was fantastic. A huge suite that was modern clean and beyond our expectations. It was room 222. I appreciated how helpful she was in a very stressful and unfortunate situation.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
This is a newer hotel so overall it’s clean and looks good. Bad part - when we tried to check in their systems were down so they couldn’t give us key cards and we had to wait for someone to walk us to our room. If we left we had to get them to let us back in. That was fixed the next day.
When we got in our room the toilet had a slow leak under the toilet. We called down and were told they have no maintenance people until Monday. This was Friday. So we just had to put a towel in front of the toilet the whole time.
Then on Saturday night the TV would not work correctly. It kept jumping around and turning itself off. We just gave up and didn’t watch TV. We told them when we checked out and they just added it to maintenance list for Monday.
So not a great stay. No one gave us fresh towels at any point or filled Toilet paper etc.
I will say staff was trying their very best under difficult circumstances. It wasn’t their fault their wasn’t any maintenance to fix these issues. The staff was always pleasant even while system was down and it was very hectic for them.
We wouldn’t stay again due to issues with maintenance but hotel was clean offers a decent breakfast.
