"Our stay at The Medicine House was fantastic!The house was clean when we arrived and stocked with amenities. It was very nicely decorated and the beds and furniture were comfortable. There was a good selection of cookware and a decent amount of kitchen staples available to use, I especially liked the selection of teas! The views from here were amazing, especially while relaxing in the hot tub.I booked this trip last minute because I needed to get away from work for a few days. I was at my limit with stress induced from owning a small business. Despite only being here for a couple of nights, my stay has greatly helped in reducing my stress and clearing my mind.Thank you Kate and Nick for opening this house to us and I will be coming back. "The property is beautiful a wonderful cabin to enjoy relaxing at after enjoying the outdoors. The host has refinished the home. It was her fathers. She has done the wirk herself. I am an artist and builder and i know what effort it takes to do so. The home has a large open common great room kitchen. Just off main road. The host was so accommodating and responded quickly. I was up for a loss of a family member and she even let my dog out for me checking on the heat for me with the weather plummeting to make sure we had everything and we did from the start. Best host and home ive visited. She deserves more than the stars i could give her"
