There is a fee of $100.00 per stay (not per pet) and you may bing up to 2 small pets under 20lbs. each or one pet up to 40lb. unless approved by the Owner. Guests must pay the pet fee prior to booking. If there is any evidence of pets inside the cottage and the pet fee was not paid, there will be a $150 fee taken out of your deposit. \*Guests acknowledge, understand, to the following items must be adhered to: \*Pets must be completely housebroken, well behaved, and pest free. Pets are not allowed on furniture nor on or in beds. Guests will be charged a cleaning fee of not less than $100 if pet hair causes a delay in cleaning services. Guests agree that they will not use any linen or towels on pets other than the pet towels Guests bring for their pets. \*Pets shall be crated while alone in cabin. \*Pets should not be left alone inside the screened porch. \*Guests agree to pay for any damages caused by pets. If pets have an accident in cabin, all clean-ups will be performed by the Guests. Guests further agree to police waste from the grounds and deposit in a sealed bag, then put into outside garbage cans. Guests agree that failure to comply with clean-ups of either inside cabin or outside cabin will result in an additional cleaning charge of not less than $100. \*If any of these Pet Policy items are not met, Guests are in violation of this Agreement/Contract. Guests agree that by signing this Agreement/Contract, they are authorizing Agents to charge Guests credit card on file for any damages sustained. PROPERTY DAMAGE: Guest acknowledges and understands that he/she is financially responsible to any and all property damage that may occur during the stated rental period which can reasonably be attributed to the rental party's negligence or abuse. DAMAGE DEPOSIT: If there are no damages or extra cleaning charges the hold will be released. In the event extra charges exceed $250, the guest’s credit card will be charged the entire amount of all damages or extra cleaning fees. KEY RETURN: Guests are responsible for the return of the property key. The keys are to be left back in the lock box, when leaving. If the property key is not returned upon check-out, Guests agree that Agents are authorized to charge the credit card on file for the costs of re-keying or replacing all of the locks and re-issuing new keys to owners, cleaning crews, and Agents. LOCK OUT: A lock out of Guests from cabin will result in a $50 service call during business hours. Guests agree that a lock out after business hours will result in a locksmith being called and Guests credit card being charged accordingly. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME: Guest acknowledges and understands that check-in time is not earlier than 4:00 P.M. and check-out time is no later than 11:00 A.M. on the dates agreed upon. Guest agrees that an unapproved late check-out or early check in will be assessed an amount equal to one-half of the nightly rental fee. DIRECTIONS: Please use Google maps or the Welcome Book to find the house as advised. If you must call us to escort you to the property, there will be a $50.00 charge to have someone drive out there. (It is a 40-50 minute drive for us or our cleaners to drive to Ellijay). The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. We truly enjoyed out stay. Getting from the entrance gate to the unit was challenging. It does require a decent drive into the resort which it is located within (10-15 minutes from the gate). The property is clean and quiet. The cabin has relatively basic appliance/finishings etc with some needed maintenance. We loved our stay here! It was quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. The only downside or warning I would give is for people that get carsick easily. The drive to the house past the gate is extremely curvy and hilly. But once you arrive at the house it makes it all worth it!! We will definitely be back. ##### amie S. I really loved my visit to this cottage. The owners were great, and the location is perfect. While it is a challenge to find, and you MUST use Google Maps as the owner mentions multiple times, once you arrive it is worth the drive. The roads are safe, but go slow to enjoy all the wildlife along the roads. The cottage sits right on the banks of the river, so you can hear it from inside. The screened-in porch is amazing, and the cottage is perfect for the ideal getaway. We will definitely book again. ##### Jeffery W. This cabin was wonderful! Absolutely beautiful setting, river right off the screen porch, could hear the sounds all the time. Fire pit to make a fire, so very relaxing ! Roads a little curvy getting to the cabin, but no problems. House was very nice. Had everything we needed. WiFi was great, no problems. Town of Ellijay had a very nice Ingles grocery store and many eating places to choose from. Would definitely book this rental again!!! ##### Garry S. We had a nice stay at this property. I would not want to drive in for the first time after dark. Roads were good, but might be tricky after dark. Owner was accurate in all their descriptions of the property. Very dated, but quite comfortable & had adequate amenities. Very quiet & beautiful river!! ##### Liz D. We enjoy the location- see title. The property owners description is accurate. They made some changes; added nightstands and bedside lamps to the upstairs bedroom and changed out the porch furniture.( different from on line pictures- all beautiful) The home is very clean, the kitchen well stocked.A very relaxing location and well worth the drive to the property location. ##### Debbie H. But the cabin needs major updates and a cleaning. Wet plates in the cabinet and cleaners still there almost an hour after check in time. The cabin had everything we needed and was very cozy and comfy. The view to the river is breathtaking and the screened in porch is large and inviting. It was crazy cold outside so we were not able to enjoy the screened in porch, grill, or firepit but we loved the fire we made in the wood burning fireplace. Getting to the cabin was tough upon arrival but the host was available and helped us immediately. We want to come back in the summer or fall! ##### Memory B. The river running at your back door, deer coming to visit every day. The only issue I have with this cabin is the lack of TV stations. I know you are in a cabin in the woods but you have the baseball playoff’s and college football on the weekend. This cabin was advertised as having local TV channels. We were unable to find any local stations. Hulu will no longer allow you to sign into two locations at one time, so Hulu was out. For some reason I could not cast from my phone to the TV down stairs. The cabin was great but the TV select was horrible. ##### Clois H. I am 57, my daughter 20 and dad 84\. The location is so beautiful! And peaceful !!! We could not have been happier! It served its purpose. My 84 year old dad has not been himself since losing my mom last April. They were married almost 61 years. He smiled more, recited poetry again, he commented on the beauty several times a day. I saw joy in his eyes again. There are deer everywhere. The river is stunning and we had mallard ducks visiting us daily. The house is so quaint and cozy! The tv goes off line but if you unplug everything for 10 seconds and plug back in, go back to direct tv . It works fine. I am very experienced in driving winding, steep roads with many blind spots and hairpin turns so I do warn those that are fearful or have anxiety with this to take caution. There are no lights so at night you are pretty much in complete darkness on a very narrow road. My sister couldn’t make it. Also if you have anyone with a medical condition, it takes at least 15 to 20 minutes just to get out of the community from this location. This is just worth mentioning for anyone with issues to consider these Things. The cottage on the river is pretty perfect as far as we are concerned! Be sure to buy firewood because there wasn’t any when we arrived and we love to have a fire in fireplace or in fire pit. ##### Michele c.
