"The owners of this property are lovely. There were farm fresh eggs on our arrival. Visiting with the goats and chickens and turkey were an added bonus. Would highly recommend this property!"

"I can’t say enough about how perfect this home was for my family’s trip. The views are amazing! Not only do you get a great view of the lake but we were blessed to watch an amazing lighting storm off in the distance over the rolling hills. The back patio was great for cooking breakfast and watching the sunrise before heading out to the lake which was literally 5 min away or 20-30 min to the opposite north shore. Scott is a great host who is accommodating and communicates very well. He truly wants you to enjoy your stay and the home speaks to it. Ogallala is a quaint little town nearby where you’ll find plenty of things you forgot to pack or to grab a quick bite to eat at one of their restaurants but it is a small town so some things you won’t find as easily or will have limited options for, like water shoes, a good selection of life jackets, racks or replacement parts for your racks, etc. We enjoyed our stay overall and are looking forward to the next trip! "

"Staff was extremely nice and efficient. No coffee in room, but coffee in lobby. Great dining at the Flying J, just a few yards away. Greeted by a spacious and nice smelling room! Large showers. No shampoo etc. but always have my own any way. The outside wasn't inviting,but the room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. Microwave, tv and small fridge included. We would recommend this motel."
