The park was amazing, the safari trips were incredible, the people were so friendly and the food was delicious. The only con was the steep stairs to get up to our room with only a handrail on one side and we’re 69! So be sure to ask if you have stairs to climb to get to your room!

This is the finest hotel I have ever stayed at. The Presidential Suite was extremely reasonable in price compared to a comparable hotel in the US. The staff is absolutely fantastic. The Nova Bistro restaurant in the hotel serves fantastic food and huge portions at a reasonable price. The cocktail prices are extremely fair. I highly recommend The Houghton Hotel for your next stay in Johannesburg.

Loved it at Royal majestic. The location was perfect - attached to the rosebank mall, next to the Gautrain stop in a safe area. The room was big, gym was great and breakfast was amazing
