"Terrible stay due to people in the neighboring room watching loud action movies late into the night forcing us to switch rooms at 2:30 AM. This was the only thing that kept me from giving the hotel a 5 star rating. The room I moved to was very quiet. The hotel was very clean and updated throughout and located in an ideal spot with lots of food and shopping nearby. I had requested a room on the top floor at the end of a hallway in hopes of a quiet stay and they granted my request. All encounters...

"Yes, in the hills of West Virginia, the motel is up the ramp, it really is. The roadside sign is a bit sun worn, so viewing ot at night is a little tricky. Go slow, pay attention, it's a small sign about waist level."

"The office staff were all very professional and friendly. My visit was due to flooding of my home from the Ohio river. I wasn’t informed until the evening of 4-3 that I needed to evacuate now, as the River was over the bank and would continue flooding the area. I haven’t driven at night time in 6-7 years, so the drive over to the hotel was extremely stressful for me. The hotel allowed my late arrival. "We very much enjoyed our 3 day stay in this beautiful home while visiting our grandson at Ohio University. There was plenty of space for 3 adult couples, nice porch overlooking a pond, safe walking trails, an inviting hot tub, and much more. Our Vrbo host George was very accommodating throughout our stay."

"Roomy, comfortable Cabin. Livingroom set up was accommodating. Food trays, tv, air, comfy seats. Loved sitting on the deck and gazing out at the pond. Saw a Night Heron, hawks, geese, turkey vultures, deer, turtles, and many song birds. Would stay here again. You are surrounded by country living."
