Cottage Bala is located in a quite and peaceful area of Bled, with a big private garden and beautiful view on a nearby mountains and the lake. You can lay down on the sun or just relax after all day activities which you can find in Bled and its surroundings.

The space

Cottage Bala is fully equipped and it's ideal for 4 people but it can accommodate 7 people ( 6 adults and 1 infant/child ). Two large double beds in a separated bedrooms and additional sofa/bed for the 5th and 6th guest in master bedroom. Highchair and the crib for infant/child are provided.
Cottage has two toilets one in bathroom ( ground floor) and upstairs toilet.

Guest access

Feel free to use all the amenities in the house. For washer and dishwasher ( soap, softener and detergent) are included. Outside you have movable grill and open fireplace ideal for evening gathering by the fire.

Interaction with guests

We always meet our guests in person and help them with ideas what to do or see. There are also maps and brochures about Bled and Slovenia in the cottage.

Other things to note

There is a law in Slovenia that host is responsible for informing local police station about every tourist that sleeps at Bled (or any other place in Slovenia).

That is why we will scan your IDs upon your arrival and charge you for the Tourist Tax which costs:
- 18+ years: €3.13 per person / day
- 7-18 years: €1.56 per person / day
- 0-7 years: free

Short stay in Bled
We stayed for a few days on the way home from Croatia. Property was spotlessly clean, well organised and had all the facilities and equipment you could need for any length of stay. A beautiful location a short walk from the lake. Tine was very welcoming and helpful and gave some great advice about how to get the best from our stay. Highly recommended.

Well equipped, great for families
We enjoyed a fabulous week at Lake Bled. Tine was a great host providing prompt and helpful communications before and during our visit. We had some excellent advice regarding key places to visit and Tine helped to organise an amazing day on the Soca river for us too. The local bakery was a daily highlight with fresh pastries a great start to the day. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. The children loved the garden and play equipment and it was so peaceful. We enjoyed several days down by Lake Bled (10-15 min walk away) and visiting the surrounding towns and countryside. Overall one of our best family holidays ever - we will definitely be back!

Cottage Bala - einfach große Klasse!
Wundervolles, sehr gut und überlegt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit Allem, was man sich wünscht. Sehr gepflegt und sauber, ideal für bis zu 4 Personen. Gemüse-, Kräuter- und Obst aus dem großen Garten durften wir nach eigenen Wünschen nutzen. Das Haus ist gut erreichbar, ruhig, zentral gelegen zu etlichen Highlights in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung (Triglav Nationalpark, Ljubljana, Tropfsteinhöhle in Postojna). Unaufdringlicher Gastgeber mit gutem Gespür für Beratung und Tips zu Ausflügen und Kulinarik. Sloweniens Nordwesten ist begeisternd für Menschen, die Natur lieben und gern zu Fuß, mit dem Rad oder auch mit dem Auto (wenn das Ziel zu weit weg liegt) unterwegs sind. Resümee: absolut empfehlenswert - wir kommen gern wieder.

Prachtig huis
Ons verblijf was TOP. Tinne is een heel aangenaam persoon die echt de moeite doet om je verblijf fantastische te maken. Alles is echt aanwezig in het huis, heel proper, helemaal niets op aan te merken. Onze hond Frankie geeft ook volop genoten, vooral van de mooie tuin en de knuffels van Tinne.☺️ Wij komen heel graag nog eens terug.

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Umgebung
Wir waren begeistert. Das Haus befindet sich auf einem Naturgrundstück mit Garten in ruhiger Lage. Es ist sehr gut eingerichtet, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wenn es Fragen gab war der überaus zuvorkommende Vermieter immer zur Stelle und konnte uns mit Rat und Tat weiterhelfen. Wir empfehlen dieses Haus uneingeschränkt! @ Tine nochmals Danke.

Idyllische Wohnung mit traumhaften Garten
Eine wirklich traumhafte Ferienwohnung. Das Gelände ist fantastisch. Eine Feuerstelle, nagelneuer Grill, Schaukeln, Liegestühle, unglaublich viel Platz und ein schöner toller Garten, wo wir uns mit Gemüse und Kräutern bedienen konnten. Tine, der Vermieter ist super hilfsbereit und gibt tolle Tipps was man in und um Bled unternehmen kann. Danke nochmals für den Tipp im Radnova Tal.....das stand in keinem Reiseführer.... :-) Die Wohung selbst war piccobello sauber und gut ausgestattet. Wir können diese Ferienwohung bedenkenlos empfehlen.

Einfach nur klasse
Wir haben eine herrliche Woche in Times Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist wunderschön, super sauber und gepflegt und es fehlt an nichts. Ich habe noch nie eine so topp ausgestattete Küche in einem Ferienhaus angetroffen. Von der Dolce Gusto Maschine bis zum Sandwichmaker ist einfach alles da, alle Arten von Gewürzen, Essig, Öl und sogar Dolce Gusto Kapseln. Das Gelände ist riesig und traumhaft. Im Garten darf man sich an dem liebevoll angebauten Gemüse und Obst reichlich bedienen. Der Vermieter, Tine, wohnt auch auf dem Gelände, drängt sich aber überhaupt nicht auf, gibt aber gern sehr hilfreiche Tipps für Ausflüge oder Restaurants. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen und sollte es uns wiedermal nach Bled verschlagen, dann nur in dieses Haus. Unser Hund war auch mega glücklich dort.

Der Ferien Bungalow ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es fehlt einfach an Nichts, es ist super sauber und ruhig. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit aber nicht aufdringlich. Für uns Vier war es ein tolles langes Wochenende! Wir werden wieder kommen. Top. Frank aus Berlin

Ein super Haus. Die Lage ist toll. Unsere Kinder konnten frei herumlaufen, da kaum eine „Fluchmöglichkeit“ besteht. Das Haus ist exakt so schön, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Innen ist alles (aber auch wirklich alles) vorhanden. Vom Waschmitten bis zum Kaffee ist für alles gesorgt. Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden alle 5 Tage gewechselt. Wir haben regelmäßig frische Nüsse zum füttern der Eichhörnchen bekommen, was die Kinder sehr freute. Die Küche ist wunderbar. Alle Küchengeräte und Utensilien sind vorhanden, sodass man direkt loskochen kann. Im Garten gibt es ein Gemüsebeet, an dem man sich einfach bedienen kann. Dort findet man Kräuter, Salat, Tomaten… Die Feuerstelle ist ebenfalls herrlich. Holz ist ausreichend vorhanden und darf genutzt werden. Der Vermieter hat regelmäßig nach dem rechten gesehen und gefragt ob wir etwas brauchen. Er ist dabei aber sehr zurückhaltend und zuvorkommend. Zu Beginn hat er uns ein paar wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Zum Beispiel die Pizzeria Rustica, die wir ebenfalls sehr empfehlen können 😉 Bis zum See sind es tatsächlich etwa 10 Minuten für einen Erwachsenen. Der Aufstieg wirkt sehr steil, ist aber locker machbar. Uns hat zum Schwimmen allerdings der Bohinjsko Jezero besser gefallen, weil die Kinder dort besser ins Wasser können. Er ist etwas 25 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Der Vermieter erklärt das zu Beginn alles. Der Bleder See eignet sich aber auch hervorragend zum Schwimmen, ist allerdings an den Schwimmstellen etwas voller. Und wandern? Da fange ich gar nicht erst an, weil sonst der Text zu lang wird. Zusammengefasst: Es ist herrlich! Alles in allem haben Haus, Garten und Service 5 Sterne ohne Abzug verdient! 👍
