    Tranquille (French for tranquil) is located between Blue Ridge and Blairsville, in the north Georgia mountains, immediately off of 4 lane highway Ga 515/76,. Privately located in a safe, gated subdivision yet less than 5 miles from shopping, restaurants, hiking, the Appalacian Trail and other mountain recreation. Only minutes to boating and great fishing on Lake Nottely, Lake Blue Ridge and Lake Chatuge.

    The cottage has a gourmet, chef's kitchen and appliances; a living room w large flat-screen TV and fireplace; a plush bedroom w a queen memory foam mattress and large flat-screen TV; a grand marble bathroom with two sinks, a large, custom shower, and heated floors; washer and dryer; a glass porch with heated floors; a covered outdoor deck with a gas grill and table and chairs; beautiful, treed acreage w small stream.

If you want to be wrapped up in nature, this is a great spot. So peaceful. The amenities are high end. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need if you wish to eat at "home". The location is also close to town and a couple of parks which provide access lots of activities.

Excellent communication. Very responsive. Even had a neighbor check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and weren't snowed in. Awesome host will definitely rent again.

The cabin description was spot on, extremely clean, close to good restaurants. It was conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Blairsville. The owners were great and gave good advice on local eats. The roads leading to the cabin was easy to drive and it was right off the main highway. We added this to our favorite list of places to stay. I highly recommend this cabin for anniversary trips and couples getaway.

I love all the whimsical yard art. Tranquille cottage is the perfect spot. It’s close enough to shopping and all kinds of activities or just a quiet relaxing retreat. We will be back!

This is one of the few places that is way more impressive in person than the pictures advertised. It's updated, clean, spacious, quiet, and a perfect getaway! The owners are wonderful to deal with and I will certainly be returning.

Just perfect

Kitchen well equipped, furniture so comfy (including the bed), great bathroom! Literally the only thing I would change is queen to king size bed (but just bc that’s what we’ve been sleeping in for 32 years). Great couples cottage and close to town. Will def come again!

Excellent pet-friendly cabin in a very pristine setting. The setting is very quiet with many deer roaming through the surroundings. From the cabin's spacious deck we were able to watch the deer. The kitchen, laundry, and bathroom amenities were as described, and made our stay very comfortable. Other than some dust under the bed, everything was very clean and orderly. Our host was very friendly, and stayed in touch throughout our visit to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. I would certainly like to return to this property in our future visits to Blairsville, GA.

Ample space for my dog to run around. Heated bathroom floors were a nice amenity you don’t often see. A wood bundle was ready to go in the fire pit for us as well. We would stay here again!

Favorite Vacation Rental
