We had a great week in this lovely warm, comfortable cottage perfect for a relaxing holiday. The location is quiet and peaceful but not lonely, with a secure garden for dogs. There are walks from the cottage, a great railway trail at Newtyle for longer hikes, and lots of interesting destinations for days out within an hour’s drive. We stayed at the cottage over Christmas. Cheryl got in touch a couple of days before we arrived with directions and links to nearby attractions, restaurants etc which was very helpful. The cottage itself is lovely and very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed to make our Christmas dinner!We had a lovely relaxing Christmas at the cottage, and the fire in the living room was great. We had a lovely weekend at Baldowrie Farm Cottage. The location was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. So peaceful just what we were looking for. It was spotless and very cosy with the fire on. The garden was enclosed which was great for the dogs. Great communication from the owners and easy instructions on how to get there. We went into Forfar and Alyth,beautiful towns and people are very friendly. We had dinner at the Alyth hotel, food and service was excellent and they are dog friendly. We had a great seat at the fire 🔥.
