"Peaceful getaway. Beautiful old log cabin where one can have the screen windows open at night and have the loons sing you to sleep. Very clean lake and a row boat if your adventuress."
"Had a wonderful experience. Arrived really late and called ahead to let them know. They were very kind. Check in was easy. Room was very clean and comfortable and plenty of room. Chose no housekeeping the first day but when we ran out of amenities the 2nd day and requested housekeeping everything was filled and addressed promptly. Every staff member was so kind, polite and friendly. Will definitely stay here again."
"Stayed here one night and our room did not have AC on a day that was hot and humid. No fans in room and no sleep. There was no one at the front desk and a sign that said go to restaurant. Went to the bartender two different times late afternoon and early evening to let them no that are AC is not working and the room is unbearable. Bartender said he let the Manager know. No one came to fix it and no one followed up with us. I located the AC unit on the ground below our room and it looks like it has not worked at all. SO mostly likely gave us a room knowing the AC did not work. They could have easily moved us to a different room as the place was almost empty. After we left, I sent an email asking for a refund and once again no response. Terrible management. Besides this poor service, the place is in need of major updates both inside an out. Seems that they only cater to the restaurant crowd that arrive by boat or car."
"The boathouse was amazing. My sister and I stayed there for a gateway. The view is incredible. The house was clean and had everything a guest would want. The lake is perfect for kayaking. The birding is incredible. I would highly recommend it. Oh… it has a wonderful screened in porch where we spent most of our time. The host is very responsive and knowledgeable about the area. She provided great ideas for walking trails. I would stay there again."
