The proprietors were friendly and organised, going above and beyond to provide help where needed. We had our breakfast timings sorted out ahead of time, as well as our food order, so that in the morning everything was very much ready for us, which was really good when you're running on a schedule. Also, I have to say in particular, the fried bread was amazing! In fact, the entire cooked breakfast was an absolute treat. The room we were given was small, but it was cosy and homely, which helped us settle in quickly. While many aspects of the hotel are dated, particularly aesthetically, our room itself was not. It was actually quite modern in fixtures and fittings. Everything suited us just fine and we slept relatively well every night we were there. In terms of the surrounding area, you're never too far from anything. It's very much nestled in a prime location, just a short walk from the wonderful seafront area with plenty of things to see, do and eat. If you want a hotel for a night or two that has free parking, that’s close to main attractions, including Bloomfield road, that you can comfortably lay your head after a few drinks and have a slap up breakfast in the morning then it’s great for the price.
