Dobson House--Famous Taos Earthship

"There are no words to describe our experience at this property. The stars at night in this dark sky territory were incredible. Our host was beyond amazing in communication and accommodation. What a spectacular, peaceful setting. If you’re looking to get away from it all for a respite, this place does not disappoint! I will most certainly be returning. Thank you, Brenda, for hosting us. Ruby, your awesome canine friend, guiding our hike down to the hot springs was an added joyous experience."

"We had a wonderful stay @ Bougie Tiny Home! We always enjoy visiting Taos. This was our 1st time staying @ Big Little Hideaway. Great communication! Photos are an accurate representation of the amazing space! Bougie is so cozy but doesn’t feel small. The owners have designed the space & features as if they themselves have spent time there. And it’s extremely clean!!The lofts are fun, especially all the windows surrounding 1 side. The bed we slept in was comfortable. My favorite feature is the natural light from all the windows, which all have blinds. The bathroom is adorable! The shower was roomy with great water pressure. Shampoo, conditioner, & body wash are provided as well as numerous other items you might need. I appreciated the 2 adjustable mirrors on each side of the bathroom. There’s also a sofa & tv area that’s nice as it offers additional space without being cluttered. We didn’t cook, but the kitchenette has everything you might need. I meant to ask where they got the coffee mugs that have “Taos” on the bottom—they’re so cute!The huge front window was why I chose Bougie. It’s located in the back of the property, which I liked. During our stay, the other units were also occupied & it was VERY quiet our entire stay. We didn’t use the (shared) hot tub, but it appeared to be available the entire time we were there. The outdoor furniture & shade sail are also very nice. We had really hoped to use our fire pit but there was a county burn ban.Fantastic experience!"

"Casa de Cuentos was immaculate, the kitchen was well-stocked, the game room was a ton of fun, the honor bar was a delightful idea, and the hot tub was amazing. Can't imagine finding a better spot for a quick weekend getaway to Taos."

"Our travel party consistented of 3 adults and 2 large dogs. The kennels and suitcases took up all the extra space upstairs. Just mentioning, as I usually travel with 3 dogs ,but one stayed home due to health. Had she come along, it would have been very crowded. The place was very clean and provided Netflix. We grilled and cooked and had everything we needed but a cookie sheet. The location was great for what we had planned. Close to town, great country view for walks, very close to Rio Grand Bridge, and about 40 min to an 1 hours away from mountain hikes. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings / night. Even though there are houses near, it felt private and safe. There is no fence for the dogs, but my dogs stayed close by without any issues. There wasn't much to get them distracted, such as people, other dogs or wildlife close by. Instructions are throughout the house and very simple and easy to follow. Has a book with recommendations of places and things to do. Overall, absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend to others."
