Recently built (2022), 3,200 square feet, 2 level, 5 bedrooms (plus 6th bonus bedroom/office) custom-built home will exceed your expectations for a mountain vacation. If you are looking for a unique mountain getaway experience, you have found it! This is the place where quality time, fun and memories will be made with family and friends alike. This exceptional quality home is not your typical vacation rental but a true home away from home. We make it easy with no details spared so you can enjoy your vacation. This home is set up perfectly for 2-3 families or multiple couples to vacation together. Also an ideal holiday getaway for a family Thanksgiving or Christmas! The Living Space: Four of the bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. There are 2 premier king suites on levels one and two. Level two has two junior suites - one with a king and one with a queen. Each premier suite has a walk-in shower, double granite sinks, and a water closet (the master on level 2 also has a soaking tub). Bedroom #3 on the upper level is an en-suite with a king bed and a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Bedroom #5 on the upper level has two twin beds and accesses the bathroom through the door in the hallway shared with bedroom #4\. There is an office/flex room on the main level with a desk and a trundle day bed that can easily sleep two and be a possible 6th bedroom. The home can accommodate 12 comfortably in beds. There are SIX Smart TVs in the house to connect to your favorite streaming apps. We have NEWLY-INSTALLED FIBER internet (speeds around 600-700mb up/down) that should be able to handle all your working/streaming needs. The garage game room has ping pong, foosball, and cornhole. This is a great home for a flex-cation! The home and kitchen are very well stocked with all your basic supplies needed for your vacation week. There is a double oven for cooking those big family meals as well as a gas cooktop, microwave, toaster and air fryer. The beds are all made up prior to your arrival and we provide towels and linens. There is a fully stocked laundry room downstairs should you need it. There is very easy access into the home with only 2 steps, and the large suite on the main floor is great for anyone who might have trouble getting up and down stairs. The Neighborhood: Bordering a vast forest preserve, Catawba Falls Preserve is a gated community with stunning views of the Pisgah National Forest. You'll feel a thousand miles away in your mountainside vacation home, yet you are only 20-30 minutes from the culture and conveniences of Asheville and Black Mountain. There are numerous hiking trails, streams and rivers, and waterfalls all nearby in the neighborhood. Wildlife is abundant in the Preserve. The most common animals that you may encounter are deer, wild turkey, rabbits, birds, fox, and black bears. The Property: The property is very peaceful and sits on 2 acres with breathtaking views all around. The large deck and covered patio have plenty of seating. The large back deck is perfect for entertaining with a hot tub, BBQ grill, dinner table with seating for 6, cozy outdoor furniture in the covered section and even a gas fire table. The outdoor spaces are the perfect spot for relaxing and watching the sunset as well as enjoying the mountain views and listening to the sounds of nature. Enjoy coffee or a glass of wine on the large back deck while you listen to a symphony of birds, turkeys and woodpeckers. The sunsets and mountain views will amaze you! Kids loved the game room and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Many activities within 30 min-tubing, horseback riding, golf, boating on lake. Hiking trails within neighborhood. Convenient grocery store. The view was amazing and the house was spacious. The living area had plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the football games. The kitchen was well stocked. The communication with the host was easy. We found this gem for our family to stay together while we were in town for my son’s high school football game! So much space, super comfy bed and linens, literally EVERYTHING you need in the kitchen! Peaceful, quiet, everything we were looking for! There were 11 of us and there was plenty of space when we wanted to all be together, and plenty of room for us to spread out and do our own thing. We saw bears and turkeys in the area too! We enjoyed the house and cooked on the grill a few nights and fixed our lunch a few days. The weather was hot but had a few rain showers that cooled things off. We enjoyed the town of Black Mountain,shops and restaurants. Also ventured to the Arboretum ,Asheville River Arts district and Lake Lure. Relaxing on the fantastic deck we were able to view Papa ,Mama and baby bear in safety. Hope to come back in the future! ##### Marilyn C. Hiking trails are in the neighborhood and also a short drive away to Blue Ridge Parkway trails, Chimney Rock and more. Its only a 1/2 hour drive to Asheville. We had 4 children from age 3 to 13, something for everyone! Close proximity to Black Mountain. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Only other comment I would say is that we were not familiar with the Beautiful line of appliances, the coffee make especially, instructions on these would be helpful! ##### Susan L. If I were to buy a vacation home in NC I would look for a home like this one. It felt like we were visiting our own home. Michael was attentive and paid attention to detail. Our group consisted of two families (4 adults, 3 teens/tweens). We appreciated the two master suites and that each of the teens had their own bedroom. The views from the deck are beautiful. The teens used the hot tub every evening. The trails in the community are nice - highly recommend the Catawba Falls trail. We understood driving time to the grocery store (about 20 minutes) and out to the Biltmore when we booked. Gorgeous property, highly recommend! ##### Michelle M. The house is new (2022), large, well appointed, and everything works. The manager/owner Mike responded very quickly, via text, on the total of three texts we sent him (1 before arriving, 1 during the stay and 1 day of departure). Plenty of hiking trails and we saw a black bear and her cub in our driveway (had no problem)! Many things to do in the area and we golfed one day, visited Biltmore, The Cove (Billy Graham's center), Montreat, two wineries and a few breweries. Enjoyed dining in a few locations. ##### Joe F. They thought of everything and we’re so responsive. We had 8 adults, a 7-year old and our dogs for the week of Thanksgiving and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was the perfect set up for a big family and big meal. The kids loved going into Black Mountain, which is the perfect small mountain town with plenty of shops and great food. The house was exactly as described, and had everything you’d want for a family vacation — a wonderful snack box provided by our hosts, games, extra blankets and pillows and very comfortable furniture, and the fireplace was perfect on our cold nights. Upon arrival, the home was spotless. Everything we needed was there which made our vacation easy. The beds, linens and pillows were very comfortable. We love traveling with our dog and were thrilled that this luxury home is pet friendly. The house is in a really nice gated community, far enough from town but close enough to all the amenities the area offers. Views and sunsets from the back deck are great. We loved the hot tub as well as the game room. Host Michael was very helpful with local knowledge as well as all the amazing community trails. Thank you for providing our family an amazing mountain experience. We will be back! ##### Mary S. Great amenities available for us to use Things to note - we had an infant and toddler and noises in the house carry (probably because of the wonderful high ceilings). Bring a sound machine for the hallway or rooms to help block sounds out. The grounds are beautiful but the backyard is on an incline and not great for outdoor play with young ones. We spent a majority of our time on the driveway playing and riding bikes on the road. There wasnt much traffic as there are only a few houses past this home. Owners were lovely to work with and every responsive. Would definitely stay again! ##### Jen R. The owners did a fabulous job designing this home with guests needs in mind. It truly felt like a home away from, definitely not your typical vacation rental. There are multiple bedroom/bathroom suites which is great when traveling with other families or couples. We were happy to find every amenity we needed included the fully stocked chefs kitchen, game room, plush furnishings, outdoor furniture - every detail was considered and provided for. The mountain views and privacy from the home and every bedroom were spectacular. We saw a lot of wildlife including turkeys, deer and even a young bear. The quiet gated community has miles of really good hiking trails including the trail into the National Forest to the Catawba Falls. The location was great. It was about a 30 minute drive to most places including the Biltmore Estate, Asheville, Lake Lure and 15 minutes to the town of Black Mountain. The owners, Michael and Bernadette were a pleasure to deal with and were very responsive to any questions, etc. If you are looking for a well planned out brand new mountain home for your families vacation, this is the one! ##### Dave S.
