The house was spotless and cozy -- a well stocked kitchen, soft linens, and a beautiful woodsy view out the back window. I was traveling with teens and everybody was comfortable. Our toddler slept great in the kids' room, and the house was very kid friendly. Our dog also had a good time and enjoyed the run. There are many thoughtful touches, and decor is stylish and modern. The cottage was adorable. The host responded to my messages quickly and answered all of my questions. She even had a necklace I left behind and put under lock and key until I could stop to get it when I was back in the area. There is an Ingles grocery store about 5 minutes away. They even carry firewood. Heading the other direction from the cottage, the town of Black Mountain is 5-7 minutes away.
