Beautiful facility - we stayed in the lodge which some spots needed repair work. Not walkable or really close to town or train - need a car, as local taxis took a while to come. No shuttle available. Restaurant is excellent, breakfast was good. We are going back - will have a car next time.

I was charged £1168 For what they called a luxury lodge it was no we’re near a luxury lodge the cleanliness was terrible the kitchen bathroom sink s was stinking we tried putting bleach down but didn’t take away the stench that was coming from them. We got two dishwasher tablets for the machine . We were there for my husbands 70 th birthday he has not been in the best of health the last three years so I thought this was going to be special but was so disappointed with the lodge very tired dated and for the hot tub and sauna we had to keep going to reception to get them to unlock it we were booked for four days so on my booking they should have known everyone we asked someone they didn’t know as they were very young a day after we arrrived you sent me and email to two nights with the hot tub and sauna £299 well that doesn’t add up to £1168 for not a luxury lodge I’m disappointed and it ruined my husband’s celebration very very disappointed

It was serene with beautiful surroundings. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site and had a great meal. It was nice to not have to drive somewhere.

We stayed in the lodges for my sons wedding, and absolutely loved the lodges, the surroundings are gorgeous, hotel is lovely staff were very friendly!.......only downside was we were in the private dining area, felt it was really slow waiting for our food but the meal was lovely!.......just wished i had another night booked instead of the 2 night we were there

On arrival the hotel is very impressive. The hotel is situated to the right although it’s certainly worth visiting the main part of the club. My regret was having eaten before I arrived as the restaurant looked really nice. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom lodge on site beyond the stables with its own parking. I would have loved to have stayed there for longer. For £72, this was amazing and breakfast was great too. Someone has obviously spent a lot of money on this club and it shows.

This property is posh (in a fabulous way) There is history and the property is more of a resort than hotel. Staff from the restaurant to check-in to maintenance was above par. I would move in.

yes, it was nice, staff were excellent and my wife had a nice treatment in the spa. Lovely place, expensive though. For such a large establishment, this place should have a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc. lets the place down a bit. otherwise overall very nice. i wont rave about the place, but we still had a nice time. food was excellent
