Our farm is picturesquely situated on a hill at an elevation of 680 metres, offering a view of the magnificent mountain scenery of the Berchtesgadener Land in a secluded, prime location. The panoramic view stretches from the Kehlstein over the Watzmann to the Hochkalter—a view that fills us with gratitude every day. Ramsau and Berchtesgaden are five kilometres away; Königssee is about a 15-minute drive; Salzburg is about 40 minutes away; and the Austrian border is also very close. Our farm offers you a farmstay experience and exclusivity in a dreamlike, unspoiled, secluded setting. We provide our guests with a daily bread roll service. In the summer, we love our natural swimming spot, the Aschauerweiher in Berchtesgaden—ideal for families with children, too. A trip to Königssee with a boat ride to Sankt Bartholomä is really a must. The massive cliffs drop straight down into the deep lake. The entire Bavarian Forest National Park—Germany’s only Alpine national park—is worth a visit in every season, thanks to its flora and fauna, the “Haus der Berge,” and guided hikes. And for those who enjoy a bit of culture and city life, a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Salzburg is a must.
