Days Inn by Wyndham Hoover Birmingham
Room was clean & functional. Front desk staff was friendly; check in was fast & easy. This property is dated a bit. Some upgrades have been done. Room had a slight musty smell that a squirt or two of air freshener could have helped. Breakfast was very basic; fresh waffles and cereal.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Birmingham Hoover
The floors in the bathroom and room were not clean. It looked like it was mopped with a dirty mop, or dirty water. Entry A, needs to be cleaned and could use a power washing.

Comfort Inn Birmingham Homewood
The beds were comfortable but the floors in our room were not clean at all. They felt sticky and left our feet very dirty.

Embassy Suites Hotel Birmingham
It had nice amenities ( like Ruth’s Chris Restaurant and valet parking) but cleanliness was sub par ( floors were dirty, elevator inside panels chipped and stained, MOLD in shower). The staff was friendly and helpful.

As to be expected. However the bed was VERY comfortable, which is all I needed for this 1 night stay — a place to sleep.
