Had low expectations based on other reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are recently refurbished, so were Immaculately clean. Plenty of free parking, able to check in 30 mins early. Powerful shower, good tea & coffee in the room, poetry of towels. We stayed in a double double which was perfect for a family of 4. Fantastic value for money.

The hotel is undergoing some revamp work but the quality of the work is spot on. Amazing and clean rooms, the beds are incredibly comfortable and for myself being disabled and suffering with really bad back, neck and legs problems this was a god send as I find most hotel beds really uncomfortable. This is most certainly a hotel I will be coming back to and staying at everytime I come to the area which is often. The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough wish I had tmfound this hotel alot sooner than where I normally stay!!

I stayed overnight at The Regency Hotel for the 80s night. The event was great. When I first went in I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned. The reception was prompt to provide a new room which was close by. This was a lovely room but I found out later that it was the incorrect room. I had paid for a standard double room but was given the single occupancy room which was a cheaper style. I am currently waiting for the manager to get in contact as queried this when I vacated the room. Hadn’t realised until I was looking to book another room for December. The room was clean and spacious enough for me but I would like to pay the correct cost and this was the only problem there along with being given a dirty room in the first place. Breakfast was lovely and the staff great.

Rooms were recently renovated and they were clean and very nice. The hallways were being patched and painted, which is not a negative as they are simply updating the whole property. Would stay here again as it is conveniently located and very comfortable.

The building was being renovated, which we didn't know prior to staying. Required to walk through the entire building, up stairs, down stairs, up more stairs to get to our rooms. Food was really nice, great restaurant and all of the staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel is under refurbishment and luckily enough I did get a newly refurbished room so it was immaculate. I must say it was basic but perfectly adequate for a few nights stay. The Bar/Restaurant serves really good food at reasonable prices and the staff were excellent. Especially the young lady on reception who sorted a couple of things out for me.
