There was a young kid at the front desk that was a pleasure to speak with, I believe his name was Charlie. If you need food recommendations for the area be sure to talk with him!

Very well located with ample dining and shopping options. Parking on site for $15. Rooms are comfortable although the glass partitions in the bathroom are not optimal.

We like to stay at the Aloft because it is in a great location and they have a bar and nice staff… Wish the breakfast had more options

The hotel is very tired and getting run down. My room 511 appeared to have had the door kicked in and was still damaged upon my being there

It was my first time staying and it was for my wife's birthday weekend. We both loved it and Charlie was amazing. He made sure we felt comfortable for the little time that we were there. I can't wait to go back again

The hotel lobby, hallways, and room were clean and comfortable. The area around the hotel is full of restaurants and shops. Issues: the HVAC unit was SO loud, the housekeeping staff started knocking at 9:30 am, and the hotel tried precharging my cc when the reservation was pay at arrival.

Good value. The price was good for the hotel. I have stayed at nicer hotels in Birmingham but paid twice as much. I would stay here again. The location was good and there are many shops and restaurants nearby.

Sherry (not sure of spelling) at the front desk was awesome! Very personable, helpful and accommodating. She was a pleasure! :-) The young man at the desk in the evening was very good as well. Did not get his name. :-(

Wonderful Family Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everyone was amazing. Plenty of parking. So much within walking distance. Great experience for the whole family. We played games in the lobby in the evenings. Full bar and excellent service from Terry. It was a great experience and lots of greal memories made. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to Birmingham.

It could be a little cleaner. Someone guest or employee smoked pot inside on multiple times. Not the quietest hotel. Location is outstanding though and for that reason would stay here again.

Great affordable place in the soho/Homewood area of Birmingham. Charley-who worked the desk at check in was helpful and provided great recommendations as did Elizabeth the bartender. Big rooms, comfortable beds, could walk everywhere and dog friendly. Great place.

Staff was very friendly. My room had chipping paint and hard to close curtains. Loss power due to a bad storm n there were no auxiliary lights in the hall or stair case. Had to walk in the dark down stairs n halls to check out.
