A Pleasantly Peaceful stay
I was a little concern about our ck-in. But, received instructions in time. Our family arrived late to chk-in. But, we made it and was amazed how beautiful the home was. Evergreen home was very clean. We were so tired from traveling the beds and pillows were so comfortable. The decor of the home was rustic furnishing w/a welcoming of soft baked cookies. It was a very peaceful home away from home. Plenty of towels and kitchen amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Evergreen place property.

Highly Recommend for Peace and Beauty
The property was spacious, well maintained, and met all of our needs. The beautiful and tranquil location was conveniently located near places we needed to access. The host left bread and cookies from the local bakery. The host was kind enough to mail an item that we left behind. Very responsive.

Well appointed. Clean. Welcome gifts of bread, pastries and cookies was unexpected and wonderful surprise. throw blankets on every couch, household supplies, etc...we needed nothing. Wonderful stay and will do again.

Great Location
The house could use a little updating in areas, but overall the place worked out perfectly for our visit. The location is less than a block from one of the popular bakeries and close driving distance to other popular areas.

Great
Everything was provided. The thoughtfulness of that was over and above. Everything was really clean. The bakery, play yard and pretzels shop was an easy walk. The stream in the back along with cows, pigs and a horse entertained the kids. Geart fire pit, but weather did not cooperate. Great stay, great memories made.

Loved the house!
The house was exactly what it said it was and more! The pictures didn’t do it justice. We had a little issue with how to turn on the dining room lights and I emailed the owners and within 10 minutes they were knocking on the door to help us. So very pleasant and polite. We will be staying there again.

A pastoral retreat!
Incredible location, tucked in among very welcoming Amish neighbors…and don’t miss the bakery, the soft pretzels, and feeding the goats! Delightful! The house was immaculate, well appointed, and the host, who lives next door, was very accommodating!

The Manager was super nice and easy to get in touch with. The house was big and roomy. We had issues with ants and very large centipedes. Paint on ceiling is peeling in bathrooms. A little expensive for condition of the property. Great location.

Thank you for your review Cathy. The ants and centipedes is something we are working on with an exterminator. The paint on the bathroom Is an issue we just became aware of and we definitely will be repairing in the near future.

Cozy, comfortable, and a great location!
We spent Thanksgiving here with our extended family. Beautiful memories were made. The kitchen was well equipped to cook a full meal and the home was impeccably clean. Would definitely recommend and return again.

Nice house and location with beautiful back yard. Kids had a great time playing outside.
Good experience. The only problem we had is with the powder room on the 1st level. The door should pull out instead of going into bathroom. It was hard to work yourself around to get in the room.

Amazing stay!

Perfect house for a girls weekend of shopping
Loved the house. In 6 years of a girls weekend being the first weekend in December this is the only house to have a TV and a Christmas tree. Couches were very comfortable and the house was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Wonderful Property - Fantastic Location
Absolutely lovely home located steps away from one of Lancasters best bakeries. Located only 10 minutes from major shopping outlets, 5 minutes from fantastic Amish restaurants and the house is second to none. You won’t regret it! Our group had an amazing time.

Our stay was great. We went to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the dining room table was perfect for playing games each evening. The backyard is a little piece of heaven. We wish we would have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful experience at the Evergreen home. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the fresh baked goods left for us from the nearby bakery.The land was breathtaking and relaxing. My siblings loved leaving the bedroom windows open to sleep with the soft breeze through their rooms. We definitely hope to return!

Beautiful but couldn't use finished basement
The house overall was very nice and clean. A few older fixtures in the bathrooms, but you can tell it's being updated and maintained very well. The property managers were fantastic! Very nice and helpful with any little thing that came up. Our only issue with the property was that the finished basement had a very strong musty/moldy smell to it, although it looked very nice and clean. We have a few children with asthma issues, so we just kept that door closed and we weren't able to use that space. Otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay! It was wonderful being walking distance to the Bird In Hand Bake Shop. The hosts had left fresh baked goods from the shop for us to enjoy upon our arrival. Overall we really enjoyed working with them and using the home.

Spacious home in peaceful location
This is a spacious home in a beautiful, peaceful location. We loved the patio and creek flowing through the backyard. The home was well-stocked with with many amenities. There are a few places of disrepair (broken pavers on the walkway, peeling paint in a bathroom) that could be attended too, but it didn't impact our enjoyment of the place.

Our family ranging in age from 18 months to 75 years old had a wonderful time at this vrbo. The neighborhood was super quiet, yet close to all the attractions. The house was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Will definitely consider this house again when we are in the area.

Home was beautiful and spotless. (HOW do they keep those carpets so clean?!) with little kids, we needed some entertainment. the petting zoo by the bird in hand bakeshop was the perfect thing for my kids and feeding the goats kept them entertained every day during our three day stay!

The house was lovely and comfortable for my traveling group of 5 adults and 2 children. The owner graciously left cookies, a loaf of bakery bread and many other staples in the cabinets and refrigerator. We spent more time then anticipated due to the cold and rainy weather. The heating did not work well in some of the bedrooms and the basement. We also had issues with the television. It would be helpful for the owner to leave instructions on how to navigate the 2 different remotes. Perhaps an additional television should be installed in such a large house. We were only able to use the one in the den because the basement was much too cold. I would also recommend that the owner fix the bricks on the front stoop. This was especially dangerous for children and my 87 year old mother. Despite some minor problems we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this house to friends.

House is huge with plenty of room to spread out with a group! Nice touch with fresh bread and cookies there upon arrival, Fully stocked and clean, all of us enjoyed our stay for my son's wedding, cool seeing the countryside. Would recommend and consider for future visits!

Great place to stay at in the area!
The house was very nice to stay in. It was roomy and although it didn’t have an open floor plan it felt like it did. There was plenty of seating for a larger crowd in the dinning room. There also was a sunken living room that was located off of the kitchen which was large and had plenty of seating and room for everyone to sit. The cleanliness of the house was great and it was stocked with the necessary amenities that were needed. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely go back to this house.

Large, Clean, Well Supplied Home in Lancaster PA.
This was a large, clean, well cared for property that was stocked with mega kitchen, bath, and bedroom supplies. This was our second weekend stay with 4 couples who all requested we stay at this home again. It is located close to Lancaster shopping and Sight and Sound theater. We would highly recommend this home!

Really nice stay in this Spacious Home
We had a great stay! The house was even bigger than it seemed in the pictures. Clean with updated decor. Free coffee (Keurig) and they left us treats from the local bakery! I would stay here again. They have some kind of ground hornets in the back which made using the yard difficult.

Quiet & Beautiful Oasis
My family and I stayed at this property for 2 weeks and it was a wonderful time. The home was perfectly appointed with plenty of space and a great backyard for our kids to play. The kitchen was great for cooking and there was a outside gas grill and fire pit to enjoy. The location is great because the property is surrounded by trees and farmland so you have the birds, cows and horse hooves to provide a peaceful and relaxing soundtrack when enjoying the outside. And as a bonus the Bird-In-Hand Bakery with their delicious baked goods and goat petting zoo is just down the street. Marlin was very friendly and did a great job communicating with us. If we are looking for another home away from home we will definitely look to return.
