Our room door DID NOT ACTUALLY LOCK. The door handle would appear to lock, but if you simply pushed on the door, the entire door would open. That means anyone could have walked into our room while we were gone, despite us believing the room was securely locked. What made this even worse was the hotel’s response when I complained. Instead of treating this as the serious security problem it was, I was basically told that the lock works as long as you “don’t force the door open.” That is ridiculous. A locked hotel room door should not open just because someone pushes on it. That completely defeats the purpose of having a lock. We left our personal belongings in this room believing they were secure. Finding out that literally anyone could have pushed the door open is extremely concerning. This is not a minor maintenance problem. It is a serious guest safety and security issue, and the dismissive response from the hotel made the situation even worse. Guests should be able to leave their room knowing that the door is ACTUALLY LOCKED.

This is a great place and location for a group or family. The rooms and communal area are clean and well maintained. The pool is perfect size for the property and well equipped kitchen. On site staff are easy to get hold of should you need anything else. AC is all rooms along with plenty of towels and bedding.

Great location and the beach club was great.
