Gorgeous from top to bottom, but still providing the comfort of home, this place will have you coming back year after year. A perfect getaway for families vacationing together with children of all ages. Included are amenities for babies, toddlers all the way to teenagers! Four bedrooms plus a loft make this perfect for couples vacationing without kids, the annual guys or ladies trip! Not to mention the hot tub on the main level deck! One of the few locations where you won't need a car to enjoy all there is to offer in Mountain Village in Big Sky. Walking distance to "Base Camp" - where you'll find shopping, dining, hiking and biking trails and activities for children. Rock climbing, zip lining, bungee jumping and panning for gold. Enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking or playing in the sand at Lake Levinksky, all within walking distance. During the winter months, you can enjoy the best skiing, snowboarding, tubing and yes, zip lining in the winter! Childcare is also available. Drive down to Town Center and there is more shopping, dining, golf, fly fishing, hiking and movie theater for a late night or rare rainy day. Horseback riding, white water rafting, ATV tours, Snowmobile tours, Chuck wagon dinners and hot air balloon rides are all in the surrounding area of Big Sky! Yellowstone Park is a short drive south on US - 191(approximately 45 min Winter Ski Information: Ski Rating 4: Suitable for all levels of skiers. However beginners will want to follow beginner directions below. Ski Out: Step out the garage, go right to connect to the Bear Back Poma. At the top of the Poma you will ski a groomed access run to Ramcharger and Swift Current in the base area. Ski In: Intermediate and Expert can ski Silver Knife to Bear Back Poma lift. Follow the Poma down, but don\`t go all the way to the bottom. You will see ski tracks to the left where people have cut to the left and back towards the units. This will make it easier to get closer to the garage of the unit. Beginners should ski to the Summit Hotel and then walk back to our home. Please Note: During periods of melting you may need to walk from the unit approximately 75 yards to the Poma Lift. The location is ideal for skiers -- super easy to get out on the mountain and ski right back in! The home is very well stocked with everything you would need. In summary I would say that we have stayed at both nicer units within black eagle as well as worse units. I would put this unit in the top 3 with respect to upkeep, appliances, and general appearances. Brent has been a pleasure to work with, and is very responsive. If I were to make any suggestions about ways to improve the property, it would be with regards to upgrading the size of the televisions, particularly in the family room, restocking some of the kitchen utensils, and providing a newer mattress and pillows in the master bedroom. Otherwise it’s good unit, and certainly a very very pleasant experience to work with property, owner and manager. ##### Kevin H. The house is beautiful, and well-cared for. It was perfect for two families of 4\. It's an easy walk to Mountain Village and the lake. It's a 10 minute drive from Town Center where there are more restaurants, etc. The house has everything you could need: a well-stocked kitchen, toys/games for kids, comfortable beds, extra towels and blankets, and a two car garage.
