About this property
Secluded home close to Meadow Village w/private hot tub & library | Creekside Retreat
Welcome to Creekside Retreat! There is something special about a home where the first thing you notice is not the size of the house or what is inside, but the sound of the creek flowing just beyond the trees.
Tucked into a wooded setting in Big Sky, this 2,700-square-foot home feels like a quiet little escape of its own. Mornings can begin with coffee on the deck while the creek runs nearby, afternoons can be spent exploring the mountains, and evenings bring everyone back together to relax and share stories from the day. If you are lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the resident moose wandering through the trees.
Inside, the home has a warm, comfortable feel with beautiful finishes, inviting furnishings, and plenty of space to settle in. There is room to gather for a long dinner, stretch out after a day outside, or find a quiet corner to simply enjoy being together.
And while the setting feels wonderfully removed, you are less than a mile from Big Sky Town Center. When the mood strikes, head into town for breakfast at the bakery, dinner at a local restaurant, a little shopping, groceries for the next adventure, or a summer evening listening to live music in the park.
Spend a day exploring Big Sky or make the drive to Yellowstone National Park, then return to the peaceful sound of the creek and the trees surrounding your home.
Some places are simply a place to stay. This is the kind of place that becomes part of the Montana story you take home with you.

We had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and well stocked with everything you need to cook and have nice meals. The creek in the backyard is so quaint and the hot tub was very soothing after a day at Big Sky! We hope to return!!
Our family was looking for a winter getaway and this property was fantastic. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and it had all of the amenities of home.
This house was beautiful!!! Our family loved every minute here. Lots of room and perfectly located! The kitchen is great to cook every meal in. The hot tub was great after skiing all day! I highly recommend this property. We would definitely stay again.
We picked the best weekend to get away to this gorgeous home tucked in the snowy trees. A short drive to the slopes and next door to Lone Mtn Ranch. Hot tub was a hit!
Beautiful property and comfortable home with lots of cozy seating.

Great location, attentive management.
We really enjoyed the property. Had a few issues with some electrical appliances; toaster, ice maker and dishwasher, but overall would recommend this house.
Management were helpful with sending maintenance over as well as delivering a package sent to their office.
We chose this for the outdoor space in the listing and it lived up to expectations. Even tho there was one less bedroom than we wanted, the outdoor space was worth the tight sleeping space for our party of 10. One negative was the bed in master bedroom. It was so high, we needed stools to get in and out.
Enjoyed the and location. Great for downhill, cross country, snowshoeing and walking! Happy to find full sized supplies for laundry and sufficient paper supplies. Nice to see the stocked kitchen spices.
The house does have a Keuring after all, which was great! (We asked ahead of time and were told it they didn’t have one so we brought ours which was a pain.) The caretaker of the house, Sophie, was awesome!!! She gave great recommendations!
Beautiful place in Montana, but major facility issues
We loved the house, the layout and the location. The property is located 3 minutes away from lots of restaurants and shops. The Kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a large group. Super comfortable beds!
No for the disappointing part...
The furnace broke on two separate occasions, the fireplace never worked, and there were several other issues. I will say that Amber and Charlie from the property management company were amazing and they acted quickly to fix the furnace. I understand that it's hard to heat a house when it's 6 degrees outside, but the heat went out on the day o my SIL's wedding and had three little kids in our party.
What a great place! My family of 3 adult couples rented this house for a Montana and Yellowstone vacation. It was awesome and perfect for us.It was clean, very comfortable, and really nice! We loved having the patio with the river behind the house. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the kitchen had what we needed (except coffee … please see below). We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. It was very convenient to stores and restaurants, but felt very secluded. We didn’t see the “neighborhood moose” as mentioned in the description, but we did have 2 elk in the yard one night. Three suggestions to make it even better; add a queen bed instead of double in the bunk room. And leave a starting pack of coffee for the guests (I have never stayed anywhere without a starting pack of coffee) We got there late after all stores had closed — they close early— and they don’t open up early. For those of us from the east side of the country waking up early, we were searching all over the next morning to find some coffee. When we did finally find some, the coffee pot was extremely slow and is in need of replacement. But those were minor things overall. 5 stars on everything!

Amazing house on a rushing river
The pictures don't even do this house justice! It's beautiful with a lovely airy vibe and plenty of space. The location is fantastic! Close your the shops in Big Sky and you can also hike right out the front door. We loved hearing the water!
The one thing the owners cannot do justice in describing is the uniqueness and beauty of the stream. It is great to wake up to each morning while you are sitting in the hot tub. Please note, you are next to the road and you do have car noise. However, the stream is still worth it. The house is spacious and large enough for people to gather or spend time reading/working in privacy.
We did have several items that were maintenance related. The team was responsive and we didn't feel like we couldn't call and ask for help. The house is aging, however, it is worth the stay.
The location is superb if you want to be in town center most of your stay. That's not to say that the mountain and resort are far, its that you would want to stay on mountain if convenience for skiing and mountain sports is your primary purpose for being there.
I would stay here again. Its hard to not enjoy the back of the home and relaxing next to such a beautiful stream.
Lovely home and perfect setting and location. Felt like HOME! Beds were so comfortable and had so many great amenities! Thank you for sharing your home!
Our experience was great! We love the house, very easy to get to, clean, lots of amenities, games… movies… fully stocked kitchen appliances. Anything you can think of!
The jacuzzi was hot and the creek was amazing. We wish we could live here!
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was better in person than the site. The only downside was the last night half of the home didn’t have hot water and the property management wasn’t able to come out and fix it. Everyone had to use the only bathroom with hot water.
Outside of that, the grounds and home were amazing and would recommend anyone to stay here.
