For beach days, the renowned Westward Ho! Beach is just 3 miles away. Cyclists will love the Tarka Trail, with bike rentals available in Bideford (3 miles). Alternatively, embark on a boat trip from Bideford to the breath taking National Trust-managed Lundy Island. For family fun, visit The Big Sheep farm, located 4 miles away, or the Milky Way Adventure Park, just 11 miles from the cottage.

Step through the gated front garden and into the spacious lounge, where a gas fire and plush sofas invite you to relax. Across the hall, you’ll find a cosy snug with a Smart TV, additional seating, and a charming exposed beam. Continue through the property to the bright and airy semi-open-plan kitchen/diner. This welcoming space features a large dining table, perfect for family meals, and vibrant artwork that adds a cheerful touch. The well-equipped kitchen includes all the appliances you’ll need for a hassle-free stay, while a convenient utility room with a separate WC completes the ground floor. As night falls, head upstairs to choose from three comfortable bedrooms. The king-size bedroom boasts an en-suite shower room with a WC, while the other two bedrooms offer a double bed and a twin beds, respectively. A family shower room with a WC completes the first-floor layout.

Head out the front door to a gated, enclosed courtyard where you can enjoy a drink and breathe in the fresh sea air. At the back of the house, there’s a patio courtyard equipped with a table, chairs, and a BBQ – perfect for al fresco dining. Steps lead up to a further garden area with a mix of patio and lawn, complete with additional garden furniture. A path from the garden leads to a lockable rear gate, providing direct access to the public car park.
