PROs: Perfectly located, pleasant staff, well equipped, comfortable small hotel with a nice lounge and outdoor area. Very cosy! CONS: Rooms can get quite tiny for 4*, good enough for one person but corridor floors and walls need maintenance. You are entering via staircase with polished aluminum edge (safety?) - watch out in rain!

Convenient and nice
This is a lovely little hotel within walking distance of the beach and all the restaurants and cafes. The woman in charge is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, and the aircon and showers are superb. The only downside to our stay was that the wifi never worked for the entire 3 days we were there. We were told that was because 'the internet in Biarritz is poor', with a gallic shrug. But for over £200 a night we'd hoped for a bit more than this. Breakfasts seemed a bit steep - 17 euros per person for a continental breakfast consisting of bread and cheese - so we opted to go to a cafe on the street. Nevertheless, this was a very nice place to stay an I'd recommend it, so long as you don't need the internet.

Nous sommes vraiment désolées de la gêne occasionnée lors de votre séjour, une grosse panne de la fibre dans tout le quartier a impacté notre service wifi pendant 15 jours et nous n'avions aucune solution de rechange. Nous avons du attendre l'intervention extérieure de la compagnie, et je suppose que vous connaissez aussi les délais. Nous sommes quand même étonnées de lire votre avis sur notre petit déjeuner qui est un buffet avec une vingtaine de gâteaux et pâtisseries, charcuteries et fromages, fruits frais et secs, céréales, plats salées, entre autres.Dans tous les cas, Nous espérons avoir le plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau lors de votre prochaine visite à Biarritz

Biarritz has more hotels to offer
Location was perfect, however I will not be back nor would I recommend this place. This is not a comfortable place to relax, if you want to be about Biarritz all day & night then perfect, however if you would prefer to sit and relax this is not the place.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They were very responsive with my questions via email prior to my arrival. We had a late arrival and the check-in process was smooth. The villa was beautiful - simple yet stylish. The room was immaculate - bed was comfortable, shower was excellent, AC was powerful. We're looking forward to return to this facility.

A real hidden gem!!
Our stay at Hotel Koegui was fantastic. The hotel itself was very clean and modern and the location was absolutely perfect on a quiet street just round the corner from the main shopping street and close to all the cafés and restaurants. We had a very warm welcome from Julia on arrival, all of the staff at the Koegui were so friendly and keen to help with any questions we had. We had a lovely stay in Biarritz and we’ll definitely be back to stay at Hotel Koegui next time.

Pros: convenient location in the city center. Close to restaurants and attractions. Parking garage less than 150m from the hotel. Room very clean. No noise from other rooms. Cons: Wi-Fi is a disaster. Need to register with phone number and then wait for a passcode by text. Every time you get off a device, you have to enter the long passcode again. Half the time it did not work. We ended up using our data instead. Bathroom: no door on the bathroom. Just a glass door to the toilet stall. Very weird. If one person goes to the bathroom during the night, the bathroom light brightens up the entire room and wakes everyone. No extra blanket in closet which is standard equipment in other places.

Great location, small rooms, no parking although a bigger car park is available 2 minutes away (still a pain with bags) No VIP upgrade, a mini bottle of white on arrival, with the price of wine in France I would have expected a full-size bottle

Great hotel and well positioned.
Friendly and welcoming. A modern boutique style hotel in a quiet side street only 5 mins walk from the centre of the Town. The reception staff spoke good English, were friendly and informative. The breakfast was spot on. My room on the 3rd floor was spotlessly clean and new.

Perfect choice for Biarritz
This hotel is perfectly situated on a narrow (quiet!) street just a two block walk to the Grand Plage, high end shopping and aquarium. Stylish decor, wonderful staff. Anais who booked us in gave great info on parking, let us choose our room between two available and made us feel very welcomed. After two days stay it was Sandra who looked after us as we got ready to leave and really went out of her way to make sure we felt taken care of. These two could run classes on hospitality! Room & bedding were comfortable, great shower, liked the separate WC, and out room faced the hotels internal zen garden so totally quiet at night. That internal garden and the nice lounge area on the street level are both inviting and pleasant. All in all a well designed, perfectly located and outstanding staffed hotel! Def will be my choice in future.

Toller Aufenthalt!
Das Hotel ist super zentral gelegen. Innert weniger Minuten ist man an allen wichtigen Hotspots wie Beach, Shopping, Food oder Markt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und vielfältig. Jeden Morgen gab es frischen Kuchen. Das Zimmer war eng, aber sauber und einladend. Die WLAN-Stärke ist zu optimieren. Es ist ärgerlich, wenn man ständig aus dem Netz fliegt. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden dieses Hotel wieder wählen.

Cozy and in the center of town
We enjoyed our stay in the middle of town. The bed was a bit hard to my liking, but the room was quiet for a small hotel. Just keep in mind that this place does not have 24 hours front desk if it is important. No parking unless you score a street space, and make sure you reserve with the hotel for parking that is 5 minutes walk which will save you a few dollars and in/out privileges. We elected not to have breakfast, but the dining and sitting room looked cozy.

Et le miroir a été réparé des que je l'ai reçu le lendemain de votre arrivée. Toutefois en partant vous m'aviez dit que votre séjour avait été une réussite et vous nous avez remercié pour les petits déjeuners offerts. Nice hotel
Nice hotel, but the room is the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. Barely room for the bed with bath next to it. It’s the size of a walk-in closet. Location is very good, room is clean. Bed is comfortable.

A great hotel
I could not fault the hotel, it was clean and comfortable. The interior was just what you would expect from a boutique hotel. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Once we had learn't the back routes around Biarritz it was also in a convenient position. I would go again.

Very nice hotel close to the centre and convenient for walking through Biarritz. Our room was in the loft area and was stylish and comfortable, but the en-suite area was small, compensated by a super rain soaker shower!. Very nice staff so we enjoyed our stay. Limited parking, we used the public garage a few metres from the hotel.
