"The staff at the Lobby, Outside Bar, and Beach Bar were awesome and friendly. The staff at the inside restaurant and kitchen are condescending snobs and judgemental. My girlfriend and I were profiled and were given other options for restaurants by the hostess when we walked up insinuating we didnt have the money to eat there as it was fancy and expensive. So we ate there anyway and rang up a $300 tab just to prove a point. The bartender inside (A Male dont know his name) was an ass when I asked for a simple drink that wasn't on the menu (Tequila and Pineapple) because he didnt know how to ring it up on the POS. When I ordered Room Service the person on the phone was condescending about what I was ordering and acted like I was making up my order when it was coming directly off the menu. The menu provided in the room doesn't match the menu in the kitchen apparently. The manager did give us 50% off the Room Service order (Original Price $350) after I called and complained about the attitudes I had been receiving in the restaurant. Otherwise its a nice place just don't go to the restaurant and hotel inside bar."

"The staff was wonderful - very helpful and cheery! We wish there was a gym (even a small/basic one) on-property and the bathroom could have used an update. The resort itself was clean and nice though: the restaurant is great, cocktails are fun and not your run of the mill options. Beach staff was very accommodating and quick. Pool was clean and refreshing. Great spot overall!"

"Fire alarm at 4:00 am no assistance for seniours no open door on floor 4 after Firefighters where gone. NO EXPLANATION TO THE BOOKING WHY THERE WAS NO PERMISSION TO ORDER FOOD OR DRINKS INTO THE HOTEL SERVICE AND NO REFUNDS ON THE ENTIRE ORDER "

"Wifi access easy to connect. Room was very clean and new. Nice layout with separate bedroom and living/work area. Front desk staff and maintenance staff happy to please with a smile."

"This was a very nice stay with an excellent cleaning staff and a customer service phone staff that helped me get checked in. Checking in was a horror story as I do not have a smart phone and did not have internet available as I was travelling. NO WHERE in the emails I received at home indicated that I needed a smart phone to check-in. The reservation was made and paid in full (for a stay on 11 May 2026) in Dec 2025. The property was spectacular in every way, but the check in experience makes it highly unlikely I would stay at Jaxon again. The property lacks a front desk and requires technology expertise by the customer. As I was unloading my car another arriving guest was frustrated trying to check in even with her smart phone. Luckily Achillia the housekeeper was still there and helped her also. Please fix your check in procedures for us old flip phone users as the hotel was the nicest of all the ones we stayed in during the entire weeks' vacation."

"My room wasn’t cleaned one day. Requested a cleaning and left for about two hours and no change. Next spoke to front desk again in person and the room was cleaned. Small bathroom area. Sheets were moderately clean. Doors closing in other guest rooms is pretty jarring, very loud. Bar and food were good. Probably would not stay here again."
