"It was a real unusual property, a rustic village house. There is a little known castle ruin a short walk up the hill. Loved the washing machine, fire, cat and the helpful owner. It is hard to find, park at the town crossroads and walk up and right. But the locals will point you to it."

"The view from this hillside retreat was amazing! Waking up in the morning to the birds singing through the windows was a perfect start to the day before heading out to busier areas. The town of Lerici and castle were fun to explore and a short train ride to explore the sites of the Cinque Terre. AnnaMaria was very friendly and helpful, meeting us at the house and showing us around. It is a country home so don’t expect the amenities of a hotel resort, but if a quiet time in the country is what...

"Everything was great but we asked 4 times for the Wi-Fi code and never received it. Instructions on how to use amenities in the apartment would have been helpful and directions to the office to pick up keys would be great."

We had to drive down the hill into town to have dinner which wasn't too convenient after a long day of driving and sight seeing."

The small town in which it is located is charming - with a Catholic Church and a cafe that serves lunch and dinner. A short walk down the road brings you to another restaurant, which is excellent. Do take the walk in front of the terrace into the forest where you will find a gorgeous stream and waterfall. Perfect place to soak your feet and enjoy nature."
