Wobbly wooden stairs reaching 1st floor with nails sticking out. Room was awful. Expected two proper beds. Instead were given old looking brown sofa bed and double divan. Sofa bed had a flimsy thin mattress. Curtain pole was about to fall off wall. We asked to move to another room. Lovely lady at reception which took care of us. Moved to another room (room 3) which had two single divans and was lovely. She even moved my mum to a more appropriate room. Very helpful. Breakfast was great. Fair sized portion. Parking was free. Hotel gave us ticket for this. Overall our experience was good. Staff were lovely going out of their way to keep us happy. Its just a shame the hotel is so run down.
