Bethesda Hotel Guide - Pet Friendly Hotels in Bethesda, Maryland

I chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and is a 15 minute walk to Huntington metro station. From that station you can get to all the attractions at National Mall via a 20 minute metro ride which costs $3 - $4. Room was very smart as it had been refurbished. I was there for 3 nights and barely heard any outside noise. Wifi works ok, not super fast but adequate. No breakfast but coffee available 24/7. Area is fine, on a busy road but the traffic noise is not excessive. In summary, if I visited Washington D.C. again I would probably stay here.

There was only one person on duty at 6PM, and there was a stream of people checking in. I had to return to the desk twice because the room key that I was given would not open the room lock. Each time I had to wait in the check-in line again. I was finally assigned a different room. This was OK except that I really had to work this Key and lock in just the right way to get it working. I did not want to have to go back again in line, so I just dealt with it. The gentleman behind the counter was pleasant, but he seemed to be overwhelmed by the workload.

Stay was for Redskins and Cowboys game. It was decent for my brother and I.

Lovely hotel that has a staff that always goes beyond the ordinary to make your stay special. Don't miss the free wine reception at five! A great place to meet your fellow travelers. Take on the pool of you have time. Lots to see and do on King Street! The hotel has its own fleet of bikes. Take a ride down to Mt Vernon! Or take a boat ride to National Harbor.

I would stay at this hotel again in the future. It's conveniently located to restaurants, gas stations and the beltway.

I love the kimpton hotels. Friendly staff at Rogue. Greeted me and my dog with open arms and treats. Huge room. Spotless bathroom and linens. Recommend!

My husband and I stayed at the Kimpton Palomar in Washington, DC for a long weekend. We chose this hotel based on the amazing reviews we read on Expedia and TripAdvisor and because it had a pool (although we didn’t end up using it, it was an ideal option to have with the heat wave we experienced!). The location is ideal – you can walk pretty much everywhere, from Georgetown to the White House and National Mall (we did all of the above and with ease!). The hotel itself was fabulous. Our room was HUGE and well appointed. The bedding was soft and the toiletries smelled amazing (they were Atelier Bloem and very nice!). The in-house restaurant, Urbana, was lovely and the happy hour was super well priced, delicious and convenient. The hotel also has complimentary coffee and tea every morning from 6-10am and a complimentary wine happy hour from 5-6pm every evening! Definitely a huge bonus! I mentioned we did not use the pool but saw it from the gym at it had plenty of space for guests to relax and unwind. The Fitness Center was great – super clean with great machines and accessories, towels, water and fresh fruit. Also, we do not have a pet but saw lots of dogs as the hotel is pet friendly! Another amenity we noticed but didn’t (and should have!) taken advantage of was the bicycle rentals. What a great way to get around town! Lastly, everyone we interacted with at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Thank you, Kimpton Palomar DC, for a wonderful stay. Will will certainly be back!

Large room almost a suite. Comfortable bed good wifi and tv. But a number of flaws, the curtains wouldn't fully close, the electric plugs were in 2 cases falling away from the walls, the loo wouldn't stop flushing, there was no complimentary water. Good staff though. Overall okay but could have been so much better

Although only a one night stay the staff and room was great in the heart of Alexandria. Jose was the valet that evening and he was professional, courteous and friendly. Actually, every staff person was professional, courteous and friendly.

Excellent hotel and staff.Large bedrooms with really comfortable beds.Free coffee available in reception from 6:30 to 10;30am.Hotel were happy to book site seeing trips/restaurants.Bar was small with not many seats which wasn't an issue because we always went out in the evening.As usual in our experience unlike some UK hotels the staff were always pleasant and accommodating.We would definitely go back.
